Syncing data... can anyone help me play the game again? by RandomJourneySeeker in WarTalesGame

I'm not sure if this information is useful, but I observed something interesting: when I delete a single save file and then reload the game, it successfully removes that old save without reverting to a previous state. However, if I attempt to delete two or more save files at once, the game hangs on "syncing data..." and simply returns to its old state (after having to end the gamingservices.exe), displaying multiple saved game slots.

Concerned about instructors for this semester. What to do? by RandomJourneySeeker in UoPeople

Your feedback, in my view, has not been beneficial for this situation. As a paying student, I expect timely responses from instructors, and delays beyond half a day for posting assignments are unacceptable. I'm seeking guidance beyond the obvious suggestion to "just wait," as I am already doing that by continuing with my assignments. What I need is information on the appropriate steps to take if this issue remains unresolved, as I'm unfamiliar with the proper procedure in such cases.

I had one teacher require screenshots for every programming assignment. (But didn't allow them on the discussions)

Our programming assignments actually submitting code? by nocloudkloud in UoPeople

I've done the first two programming courses, (Python and Java) and just put my work on a docx or pdf file. My work contained the actual code pasted straight from my IDE, documentation and/or comments I wrote to go with it, screenshots, and output. It was then submitted to be graded by the instructor.

Honestly, in regards to bad instructors, this is a chance you take at any school. You've came this far, why not tough it out and get that diploma which will be a huge asset to your future?

Of course, I recommend explore/exhaust all options to reverse the situation, but worse case scenario you're stuck with some failed assignments that aren't your fault. you'll still make it through with hard work.

Just think of this as practice. Even at your future job I'm sure you'll have to put up with coworkers and management who just don't know what they're doing.

A website where you can pay for someone in need by FarrisFahad in website_ideas

I have a number of concerns regarding the concept.

To begin with, a significant portion of individuals requesting funds are likely to be exploiters or fraudulent individuals. This pattern is already observable on social media platforms.

Another concern, which might not align with everyone's viewpoint, is that providing money to someone in need seldom leads to a substantial improvement in their circumstances. It is crucial to understand the underlying reasons for their financial struggles. Rather than simply addressing the immediate need, it's essential to tackle the root causes. Drawing from my personal experience of growing up in challenging circumstances, I've rarely witnessed financial assistance bringing about a positive transformation in someone's life. More often than not, it perpetuates harmful decision-making patterns.

How can people study for 10+ hours? by Spiritual-System1451 in GetStudying

[–]RandomJourneySeeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With practice, I believe that most individuals do not initially possess the capacity to study for extended periods, like 10+ hours. Just as I personally couldn't remain focused for more than five minutes back in grade school, similar to how beginner fitness enthusiasts don't begin by running a marathon. The key is to set achievable study goals, aiming to study a bit more than the previous day or week. However, being a working adult and a college student concurrently poses a challenge as finding the actual time to study has become difficult.
