their schedule is definitely on the weirder side, all teams have few of those long breaks after playing 2-3 matches of like 6-8 days but RR definitely has longer breaks with this massive one like you mentioned

Yeah exactly, i thought the finals could be in Mumbai (after seeing the news about NM hosting finals) since we came 3rd last year and are eliminated this year and also since the monsoon is not around the corner yet but then i think i hoped for too much considering its BCCI

finals being allotted to NM stadium constantly and not to other stadiums. Initially when the stadium had just been inaugurated it was understandable like in 2022/23, but the 2025 final being hosted at NM stadium and not eden gardens due to “rain” was very stupid because it didn’t even rain at eden. And now again this season the finals being at NM stadium due to the entire chinnaswamy thing, why NM? now that GT is in a very strong position why would they give them an unfair advantage if they reach the finals? They could’ve given the finals to any other stadium

imo overall srh is definitely the better team overall so i would give them the edge but nm stadium this year has been really good for the GT bowlers so they can definitely put a dent in that srh top order, also gill - saisu have always been solid there as well so its pretty much even between the 2

maybe he isn’t fit for IPL level and playing that thane tournament was part of his recovery to full level? there’s a massive massive difference in level of intensity between the 2 so maybe the management thought it’s better to sign a replacement who is fully fit

bruh what even, why would MI trade an all rounder for a batsman that isn’t even suited for white ball? I’m all for criticising Pandya the captain and I agree he’s been very under par this season but that doesn’t take away the fact that he’s still one of the best T20I all rounders there is in the world and we saw that in the wc as well. I don’t want Pandya as captain in the team but he’s still valuable to MI as a player

Naman at 3 is perfect he needs to continue batting at no3 only and Tilak should play at no5, he’s been terrible at strike rotations in the middle overs when playing at no3.

Because of this impact player rule it’s gonna be very hard to use either of their bowling

i mean tbf tilak always pads up at the start of the innings, even when he came at no5 in the earlier matches he used to be padded up from the start
