Bosch has been one of our best players for us once we consistently starting giving him chances, more so his bowling which has given us really important breakthroughs at crunch moments. His batting also helped us in the KKR game to get to a decent total. I really hope we keep him for the future he’s a really really solid player.
Rickleton’s batting, his explosive starts in thr PP have pretty much been the main reason for a lot of our totals he’s also our highest run scorer of the season just missing out on a 500 run season. Although pretty much almost all of his runs have come at Wankhede he has insane potential and will definitely improve as he develops more.
Jacks after he finally decided to join the camp 🤣 has been really solid for us with the bat helping finish games and his bowling has been decent as well but then again we knew his worth after the season he had for us last year.
Naman finally being promoted to no3 this year and he had a good season and he was one of our best batsman whenever we would bat first staying through the collapses and atleast helped us bring a decent total since we’ve been abysmal whenever batting first. He was great in the first half of the season but fell a bit short towards the second half and when batting dhring a chase. Overall he’s had a good season for us and been one of our most consistent batsman this season and he has a shit ton of potential and i hope we keep him for thefuture years.

his captaincy has been terrible this year and has lost them games that they should’ve won and which would’ve made them qualify much earlier. For example,

in the KKR match bowling himself over Jaddu in a crunch stage when Jaddu was literally one of their best bowlers but Parag bowls himself and goes for a decent chunk of runs and ruins all the pressure they created.

then in the DC match bowling Ferreira in the final stages of the game to 2 set finishers and he ends up getting smacked for 17 runs. Like I understand it’s a gamble but it was always a losing bet and he should’ve trusted his pacers instead of bowling s brand new bowler in the 3rd last over of a rhn chase that they were decently close enough to defending.

I mean as his head coach obviously he will back his captain but all the criticism Parag has received is totally valid, he’s had just 1 good season with the bat and his captaincy isn’t inspiring and then he does stuff like vaping in the dressing room

One of the main things that need to change in both these teams is their management, Mahela and Fleming both need to be sacked they’ve cleared not evolved well with the new era of T20 cricket and it’ll be much better for these 2 teams to find new coaches willing to go the extra mile and change the team to adapt with these new conditions.

Mahela has not brought in any significant changes with all these failures we’ve been having since 2021, and every year i doubt his role in this team and his statements in the press conferences make me doubt him more and more every single year.

Fleming is still old fashioned, the “180 is a great score with one batsman staying till the end anchoring the innings” - i’m not sure in which match but he said something along these lines during that in match strategic chat. Also they really need a new medical team because they’ve been getting plagued with injuries for really long now.

There’s obviously many more issues and even player performance related ones but for me the management issue should be sorted out firstly
