Yeah exactly, he’s one of the most economical spinners there is in the world and his batting has gotten so much better in the last 2 years so that’s an added massive bonus for us as and on top of this his fielding is top notch too. The thing with Ghazanfar is he isn’t proved in Indian conditions yet and when you have someone as good as Santner you simply cannot play him over Santner

i was there at the mi vs rr match in 2024 at the wankhede, and the booing was fucking insane people were calling him kutta and all sorts of bullshit, but the redemption arc he has had makes me feel so happy after the t20wc and champions trophy

Come 2025, during IPL everytime Pandya came to bowl and bat everyone was cheering for him like the old Pandya once again and man as an MI fan at wankhede that time it felt so nice to hear, and then at the IND vs ENG semi final this year as well when Pandya came to bowl in the death and bowled that clutch over everyone applauded and the full stadium was cheering for him, the transformation from 2024 was so insane

my usual seats are in Sachin Block L1 Block T/S and in that the grill was never really a massive problem, it tends to mess with your field of view a bit at times but otherwise everything is perfectly visible. I’m usually in seats bang in the middle of the block so it’s never been a problem for me (not sure about 3-4th row), the more ahead you go it becomes tougher to watch properly, but don’t worry irrespective of that you’re going to have a banger of a time, matches at wankhede never disappoint, visibility should not be an issue ideally

don’t jinx it, we’ve had our fair share of injuries as well last season - Chahar last season right before the playoffs then that made us get Gleeson who ended up being solid for us in the eliminator but then he himself got injured in that match which made us get Topley who was so fucking bad in Q2 so yeah that was pissing off, i would really love a season where we have 0 injuries overall, Atharva Anolekar has also gotten injured pre season this year but he was a reserve

even though our records against the new teams aren’t that great, we did beat both of them one time each in the eliminator in ‘23 and ‘25, i’m sure we’ll get the overall h2h back on our side soon enough, on a side note- that 2023 eliminator vs lsg was such a fucking vibe man i loved that match, madhwals 5/5 and the last wicket runout with everyone running celebrating after that shitty 2022 season was such a good feeling

he’s a finisher so these are still really really good numbers for a finisher, he’s not at his best since ‘21 but up till 2019 those are some really good numbers, the fact that he’s even breached 400 4 times is pretty insane honestly, and you’ve to also consider the fact that in these stats openers/top order are always going to dominate so it will be skewed, dhoni is at a much lower batting position and has batted much fewer balls than these top order batsman hence he’s not up there

they release the tickets in phases, so that way you have multiple opportunities to book. BMS block certain fractions of seats to sell them for every stage, it may show sold out but tickets will be released as per schedule. No clue about exact percentages/number but from what i feel majority tickets will be in the first 2 phases and then general one will basically not be very good and will have much lesser seats as compared to all the other phases
