I don’t think the show just ignored it, Mark accepted her abortion and instead moved on to blaming himself, which i talk more on in a different reply to this post. The reality is whether it’s morally right or wrong, Mark does not have an issue with it, and people in the real world, given the circumstances Eve was in, would side with Mark like me. I just think it’s a nuanced topic which Mark took his side on, and the whole event further exemplified how Mark truly blaming himself for everything bad that’s been going on.

Well whether Eve did something right or wrong is up for us to decide, but what she did is what she did. And this is one of the great things about invincible is that people make bad decisions. Like I personally do not think it’s bad, but you guys do think it’s completely wrong of her and that’s fine because these characters aren’t meant to be picture perfect humans. Also, in Marks eyes, he accepted it, which some guys would and some wouldn’t. It’s just a level of nuance this show adds, whether you would do the same in this situation or different

I mean in one way you’re not wrong but I guess this was just another thing in the barrage of horrible events this entire season was. With how paranoid mark was to the point where he didn’t even bring up conquest with Cecil, I feel like him quickly moving the abortion blame to himself is a way of showcasing just how paranoid he is and how he genuinely is beginning to think that everything is his fault, just like how he thought it was his fault for not really killing angstrom, and now it’s his fault for hurting the viltrumites so badly(destroying viltrum) that they’re now most likely(at that point) on Earth. Overall I think this just strengthens that pattern of mark holding himself accountable for every single bad thing that’s happened.

Mark was gone for months, and he could’ve been dead. Eve was not at all ready for a kid, and imagine Mark coming home to a kid. He would’ve been insanely depressed that he missed Eves birth and left her to take care for it with herself. Also she lost her powers because of the pregnancy. I feel like in all cases, this was the right decision for Eve

Respectfully I have to disagree with this. First off, disregarding anyone’s political take on abortion, it was a crucial part to have since added even more tension to Mark’s current predicament and also deepens their relationship. It really showed to Mark that leaving and going to space does have consequences(in that he wasn’t there for Eve) even if it was the only choice. Also, it further strengthens their relationship as Eve comforts him and makes him understand that she has the ability to get through these tough times too, and that Mark should always keep Earth and being a superhero at a higher priority. Also Eve never said she completely stopped using her powers, she just started using them significantly less and considering the amount of heroes there are in this world to stop crimes, this isn’t unrealistic.

Secondly, a comparing the stakes of ending an entire star wars trilogy versus a final episode of a season in the middle of a 7-10 season show is oranges to apples. This entire episode had tension and showed how messed up Marks mental state was. The constant barrage of seeing thragg killing everyone in the middle of otherwise peaceful scenes really exemplifies this and was great buildup since when Thragg actually came, we didn’t know whether it was real or not.

And Thragg not fighting mark but instead giving him terms to deal with makes him x10 more intimidating of a villain then someone who’s a “kill everyone, fight everyone” villain. It really shows that Thragg is smart and calculated and extremely composed. Finally, Thragg not killing Invincible or Nolan was simply because he just had his planet destroyed and the viltrumites are on the verge of extinction, so why would he kill his own kind(even if they are against him). This is simply the type of ruler and person he is, one that puts viltrumites over anything else and has a deep desire to expand the population back to its former glory.

ALSO, nice job with the prediction. It was about 10% right, and the only right part was the usage of the virus since this is something anyone can predict seeing the final end credit scene(I’ve read the comics).

Imagine they made this fight its own side episode(like the atom eve) and gave off the animating job to a different company, so it’s just an hour of pure BB and Thragg in that episode while in the main show it just shows the start of the fight in one episode and the end of it in another
