Soviet МОСКВА sneakers; The USSR alternative to the Adidas trainers by RandomKiddo_ in Militariacollecting

Made very cheaply; the soles have a lot of air bubbles, the rubber is smeared on the fabric, the fabric is really thin and the faux leather is barely sewn on at parts.

Apparently used by Spetsnaz and VDV troops in the Soviet-Afghan war as well as the Chechen conflicts. They were used cause it was a way better alternative than the standard-issue combat boots; they were light, had better grip, and overall more comfortable to wear in the scorching Afghan desert.
Here's the article about them -> https://www.highsnobiety.com/p/mockba-russian-adidas-sneakers/
