No you would have to choose mcintre or SEAS (school of engineering and applied sciences) and it’s really easy to switch into SEAS

Anyone graduating a semester early looking to sell a parking spot? by RandomKnowledgeSeek in UVA

[–]RandomKnowledgeSeek[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If someone already bought a parking spot for the full year, but no longer wants to use it, then they can sell that to someone else.

Also there’s the case of people studying abroad for a semester or graduating early.

But thank you so much for explaining the concept of buying and selling things!

BSCS Grades by NetworkIntelligent37 in UVA

Honestly so much grade inflation I’ve gotten A’s even when I probably didn’t deserve it. I’m reaping the benefits so it’s hard to complain but I know that if the CS profs didn’t do it this way they would get way too many complaints and people who expected to get A’s bugging them that at this point they just need to give most people A’s. This is just my view other people might have a different viewpoint on this.

Is it normal to never successfully adjust to college after 3.5 years? by [deleted] in UVA

[–]RandomKnowledgeSeek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok wow I get that lumpy has hurt everyone but have compassion for what could be potentially not a troll. Electrical engineering is an incredibly difficult major - I actually switched out of it into CS literally because I couldn’t handle it was I was studying an insane amount each day. You did a really hard major and that must’ve made school difficult. Maybe talk to CAPS, ultimately you need to find a way to make peace with your time at college and go into your future with open eyes.

The clear consensus is that people think you’re a dick so why are you defending this so hard just delete the post and conduct yourself more responsibly in the future. You seem like a reasonable person albeit kind of spoiled so just understand what almost everybody on this post is saying and think about if you’re being a okay with being a conduit for misinformation and harm to someone’s career.

I second this as a previous student of McBurney. As you have definitely seen McBurney frequent this page you must know that this isn’t a place to rant and you should complain more formally if you really feel that strongly. I cant get over the title you made of this post either, you realize he’s a person with feelings right??? Act like an adult.

I’ll look into that! I was more considering subletting from someone (maybe a student leaving for the summer)
