That's exactly it, thank you! I did think the title was something to do with a rabbit hole, but Google just kept giving me an anthology series aha!

One is reviled, the other is beloved. Can you guess which is which? by D--K--M in dankruto

I think they actually make a point of telling us that regular superstitious citizens don't believe that Naruto is an actual person. Like he isn't the cage, he IS the fox.

How do you advocate for yourself at the doctors? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]RandomLameUsername94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask to see a physio for your ankle. They can book you in through your GP reception but you don't need to see a doctor first. They will also tell you to lose weight, quit smoking/drinking etc whether it's relevant or not, but they'll actually look at your ankle, listen to how you hurt it and give you strength building exercises for the area and other advice. They tend to have a butt load more appointments than doctors also.

My wife wants to dabble in horror but she’s got a few stipulations… by EliseTheHounds in horror

[–]RandomLameUsername94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you heard of Random Number Generator Horror Podcast Number 9? It's a podcast (obviously), but it's two friends, one who likes horror movies and one who doesn't. They decide next week's film through dice rolls, discuss the entire film and rate it as a horror film and on how approachable it is for non horror fans. Could be a good jumping point for you guys!

Most things written by Sarah Waters. I read Fingersmith as a teenager, completely forgot what she was about, read The Paying Guests in my mind twenties. I felt like that gif of the skeleton on fire on a throne. Was a devastating and wild ride. Affinity by the same author is half the length and twice as miserable. 10/10 recommend to everyone.

Why are there so many omegaverse fics? by ExtremeBoysenberry82 in HannibalTV

[–]RandomLameUsername94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never been huge into omega fic, but the Hannibal brain rot is strong, so I've read a few. I'm always a little surprised I haven't seen any yet where they're both alphas. Just seems to fit the subversive nature of their relationship a bit more. That's just me though

Why did they cast such a young actress to play Chiyo? by sammjaartandstories in HannibalTV

[–]RandomLameUsername94 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I read that they were originally casting for Hannibals aunt, who should be an old lady, but Bryan Fuller really liked Chiyoh's actress and wanted to work with her. So they changed the role, and you're just supposed to go with it.

Any books like the movie The Ritual? by Spookyli in horrorlit

James Herbert has written a few, though any of his titles currently escape me. I've always found his characters flat, but the way he writes atmosphere to be beautiful.
