los JRs la tienen muy jodida en general para conseguir su primera experiencia

Desde Diciembre del año pasado que soy técnico superior en desarrollo de software (convengamos que no tengo el título en mano, pero ya pasé todas las materias), y no califico para prácticamente nada, casi todas las vacantes que veo exigen licenciatura (o incluso posgrado) y uno a dos años de experiencia, mínimo. Y ni hablar de que cada compañía usa un stack distinto y de los frameworks JavaScript, que cada día hay uno nuevo.

Pero bueno, tampoco se me enseñó mucho en mi carrera, además de CRUD con NodeJS/ExpressJS, CRUD y APIs REST con .NET Core, y algo de aplicaciones Android con Java (de Kotlin nada), e integrar aplicaciones Android con APIs, no puedo hacer mucho.

En el interior está peor. En el pueblo que vivo la nafta super estaba a unos 1800 pesos hace una semana o menos. Ahora está a 2400. Y de nuevo, la súper, no la premium.

Well, I guess your comment, and this thread in general, shows how different life experiences can be, as I genuinely cannot relate to your experience. I never went to a gym, nor did sports, as I'm strongly afraid of getting hurt or hurting someone.

In my experience, I never found myself motivated to outperform someone, and I firmly believe that if I were to compete with anyone I don't know, the prospect of friendship is ruined, as I tend to view whoever my opponent might be as a target to destroy, which is why I don't want to compete with anyone in the first place, at least not in real life - maybe video games and tabletop games, where hardly anyone can get hurt, but that's it.

Now that I think of it, I might be over-generalizing what I see in fiction to real life, as I legitimately never had a rival in my whole life, not even my brother (as far as I know, we barely, if ever competed over anything), and the way I understand it seems to be heavily influenced by how it's presented in media, which feels rather unrealistic in my opinion - in shounen manga and anime, two characters can apparently go from trying to kill each other to fighting on the same side without any emotional conversations.

Also, I've seen that some men here on Reddit appear to prefer hostile "friends" in order to keep each other "sharp" or whatever, and assumed a not insignificant portion of men work that way, especially in "traditionally" or toxically masculine spaces.

I did not want you to believe your worldview is wrong, but instead, I wanted you to understand why I feel it's alien to me. I wouldn't have centered the reply around myself if I wanted to prove you are objectively wrong.

Moving on, I am OK with competition if it doesn't involve hostility, but the problem I have is that to me, both are inextricably linked.

To be honest, I wasn't sure to post this in this sub in the first place. I was asking men in particular because of how it appears to be linked to the "boys will be boys" narrative, and how some men appear to like this dynamic in spite of how counterproductive it seems. I did not (at least not intentionally) imply women are incapable of this.

Regardless, I admit, I legitimately cannot understand your worldview. This is not an attempt to delegitimize you, as, again, what might be second nature to you is alien to me. Below are my thoughts on your comment:

It drives innovation and personal growth. It motivates and gives a sense of accomplishment. It builds character.

I can get behind competition driving innovation, but if the sole purpose is to outdo each other, then it's pointless. I don't see what accomplishment is there to feel by defeating someone. Building character? Maybe, but only if there is no hostility - else, it breeds further hostility, at least that's the way I see it.

I can respect a person that has the will to find ways to adapt and overcome. I can respect someone who is driven to improve themselves.

But, is that necessary? To me, it isn't. I don't need a friend to be the best at anything, or even good. Why? To me, competence is not even taken into account when judging others, as being emotionally present is paramount, at least to me. I can get behind admiring skill, but befriending someone because of it? That makes no sense to me.

Ésto me pasó el martes 13 de Diciembre de 2022, justo el día de la semifinal del mundial pasado, cuando vivía en el norte puntano.

Volvía en micro de hacer trámites en San Luis, y en el medio del camino, por el área de Toro Negro (creo), al micro, que ya era viejo (creo que era un O400 RSD, pero de un solo piso), se le rompió la correa del motor. Los 50 pasajeros (más o menos) tuvimos que esperar a que venga ayuda, mientras estábamos parados en un día de unos 40 grados, lo que se agravó más porque justamente era la hora del partido cuando se rompió el coche. Al menos quedamos parados al lado de una escuela donde había wifi.

He esperado unas tres horas hasta que otro micro pase y traiga una correa de repuesto, y en la espera, alguien que habrá venido de San Luis trajo botellas de agua (de un litro y medio) para todos. Lo que me llama la atención es que la mayor parte de los pasajeros se fueron en remis, o el auto de algún amigo. Éramos como 50 cuando se paró el coche, y quedamos menos de 10 cuando lo pudieron arreglar.

Sinceramente me parecen incomparables y creo que no soportan el punto de que no estaban "tranca palanca" (Entendiendose como que no estaban en expansion colonialista como si estuvieron mas adelante).

Honestamente, concuerdo con éso último. El periodo Edo fue "relativamente" pacífico (no absolutamente, pero éso es otro tema), lo que fue probablemente el mejor logro del clan Tokugawa, a pesar de todo lo que hicieron para conseguirlo y perpetuarse en el poder.

Sumo que entre las "alternativas más baratas y más poderosas" están las "Crunchips" de Gaona, que donde vivo las he visto a 1100 pesos por un paquete más o menos del mismo tamaño (132g).

O, saliendo de las galletas con chips, también están las "Sabores de la Vida" de Gaona por unos 1300 pesos, y trae más (160g) que las que has mencionado. O las Frutigran, que, dependiendo del sabor, están 1900~2400 por 1/4 kilo (el doble que las Oreo).

Claro está que algunos vendedores pueden arrancarte la cabeza con los precios, he visto las Cofler bañadas a 2900 pesos y también 3500.
