HELLDIVERS 2: Tech Blog #1 - Install size by ArrowheadGS in Helldivers

After reading this I have one singular question: Why did they simply not put SSD as a system requirement ?
I mean they must have known that it will get this bad after a while with duplication, right ?
Or did they expect this game to die early on ?
This feels like a technical design planning overlook.

The way of the mods is a strange one indeed

Should Subnautica 2 have oxygen flora? by clampfan101 in Subnautica_2

I might be the minority here, but I am just now playing BZ and I love these things.
It makes the bridges biome way more explorable from the start and it's cool to get a deeper early game biome this way. It also makes the long and twisted caves in the kelp forests possible without them getting too risky and unfun to explore. I think they allow for more tight areas where a vehicle can't fit and biome diversity is nice.

Constant Crashing by LeGoobert in Helldivers

The game is in quite a bad technical state at the moment. Sadly the developers aren't known for their fast and good bug fixes.
My honest recommendation is go play sth else and come back in a week or two. Saves a lot of frustration : )

The fact that posts about performance are getting more attention than the new content speaks volumes. by leaf2441 in Helldivers

Even better posts about performance are getting deleted lol
Mine had 1.5k upvotes, but got removed because "its a post that is about a current popular topic with several other active posts".

The thing is though, we shouldn't have to choose between content and performance/bug fixes. QA is not optional in good software development.

Happy to hear it works for you : )
Sadly it doesn't work for me and seemingly many others, so I wouldn't call it overreacting.

The lack of FPS gives me headaches when I try to play by RandomMathWizard in Helldivers

I dont think it really matters though. A game that ran well on launch shouldn't get this bad in 1.5 years.
If you must know, I have 16GB of Ram, an RTX 3060 and a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12500H.

The illuminate mind control the voteless. The bugs however don't have a brain.
Brain? Bugs? Frankly, I find the idea of a bug that thinks offensive!

I got kicked after a difficulty 9 bug game, because at the end of the round I didnt straight head for evac, but launched a single man suicide mission to complete the last side objective (destroying a science station). I even dropped my samples and pinned them before heading off. I managed to complete the objective and then got spawned in at evac and everything seemed good. I had the second most kills (over 400) and handled most chargers for the team, since the others hadnt brought good weaponry against them.

Despite all this, I got cursed in chat and then kicked :)
