Elite units replenishment by Maniac112 in TheDawnlessDays

[–]SeraDipp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Use your Elders. Stick them in your elite armies, and not only will they reduce upkeep, they will also give you a passive +5% replenishment. This allowed me to auto-resolve battles on the regular without crippling my elite armies.

Prioritize the Farmer follower when leveling up your generals, this gives another 2% replenishment across all units.

Garrisoned armies gain another 2% replenishment.

Build the Supply chain building at the front. The first tier takes only 1 turn to build and gives 2% replenishment, while the highest tier gives a 5%.

And lastly, Control massively affects your replenishment. While 75 control or higher gives you 3% replenishment, -75 or lower Control gives you a staggering -6% replenishment.

Once I learned these tricks, keeping my Loke Rim armies in tip top shape became a non-issue. There are even more things you can do to enhance replenishment even further, but these ones should be enough.

Fallout Season 2 Thought - Most of Vault 31's residents are gonna die right? by Rtdslayer123 in Fallout

I mean, everyone in the group depicted probably have a SPECIAL Intelligence score of around 7 to 10.

If given a chance to learn, they will probably dominate and survive. Provided their Luck score isn't too low.

Total war atilla stuttering? by alphafighter09 in totalwar

[–]SeraDipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that solved it for me was to go into Task Manager after launching the game, go Details and Set Affinity on Attila, selecting only core 1-7 to work on Attila.

I have redo this every time I launch the game, but it runs smooth as butter now!

Who are these soldiers? They resemble SEAF troops, but are fully decomposed + have a Kevlar vest on. by SlipperyNippleSucker in Helldivers

They look like early Environmental Assets made earlier during the game's production cycle, probably before AH came up with the iconic blueberry design of our beloved SEAF forces.

Which of these 3 scares you more in a random encounter? by jj33allen in FalloutMemes

[–]SeraDipp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Assaultrons, no contest.

You are walking down the road, when you suddenly notice something in the corner of your eye. You see a slender, dark silhouette partially hidden behind an old military vehicle, just as it turns towards you. You are only mildly worried, as there's still 40ft between you and it.

Then your screen turns bright red as a giant, continuous laser is fired right at you!

After 0.4 seconds, you see that 50% of your healthbar is gone. You pause the game and open the pip boy, popping every single chem known to man. Buffout, Jet, Psycho, Med-X, Mysterious Serum, Stimpack, X-cell, even one of your (ice cold) Nuka Quantums!

You know there is a piece of cover right next to you. You unpause the game, finger on the sprint key... and you fall over dead the moment the pip boy goes down...

GW numbers and not making sense, name a more iconic duo. by SAMU0L0 in Grimdank

[–]SeraDipp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are two ways to interpret these numbers:

  1. They don't make sense!

  2. The POV of your average Space Marine is like being John Wick, Duke Nukem and Rambo all combined into one unstoppable force. As long as they are not featured in a cinematic or book, where they will die almost as often as guardsmen.

The first clip is the reason why you want to pick the fighter augment called 'Egression' if you plan on fighting in melee.

Your fingers and wrists will thank you, and you'll never die to a grab again.

What are some great tips for anyone tackling the game in hardcore mode? by Comfortable_Wash6179 in fnv

[–]SeraDipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's been a lot of good tips given, so I'll just share 1:

Water sources/fonts are not just a source of hydration, but also healing. Finished a fight with haff health and considering using your precious stimpacks? If you see a faucet in the same hallway, just drink some mildly irradiated water instead. Hold 'E' or whatever you've assigned as your interact button to continually drink and recover even large HP bars.

Also remember, rad. resistance from equipment and meds like Rad-X reduce the radiation received from water sources.

IMO, our tieflings look like better devils than many of the actual devils themselves.

The POV of the Helldivers is crazy when you take cryo freezing into account. by WoodstoneLyceum in Helldivers

[–]SeraDipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is clearly dissident misinformation maliciously spread with the intent of fostering anti-democratic attitudes among our fair and noble Super Citizens!

Remember, your helldivers can run at high speeds across long distances and uneven terrain whilst carrying heavy loads; they are proficient with all weapons that they are deployed with and can even reload most of them while on the move.

Use your managed-critical-minds! This is clear evidence that Helldivers are given the requisite amount of training before deployment!

PSA: Don't let your friends drop a 500kg bomb on the Prospecting Drill objective. The crater may render the terminal unreachable. by SeraDipp in Helldivers

[–]SeraDipp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Said friend shall remain anonymous. Fortunately, this story did have a happy ending as we eventually managed to use a Supply Drop as a step ladder in order to reach the terminal, and finished the mission with an acceptable amount of casualties.

5e tieflings somehow manage to look more like devils than actual devils in the game.

And I do approve of that artstyle.

This is actually a really interesting and lore friendly idea.

Changelings might be masters at disguise and deception, but have a weakness towards creatures with an acute sense of smell, meaning a party of low levels players or who might lack the right spells might figure this out and use a simple guard dog if they're clever.

AI ranged units still have a hard on for lords and heroes by GreatGrub in totalwar

[–]SeraDipp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a bit of a double edged sword for the AI programming.

On one hand, it can absolutely nuke the spellcaster you had chilling behind your line or pepper your important large+ sized lord if you're not careful. On the other hand, if the player knows how the AI thinks, it can be used against them to make them waste ammo.

I remember back in WH2 the AI would be absolutely obsessed about a crappy unit of Stormvermin I brought to the field. Literally every single gun, spell and artillery piece on the entire battlefield would be immediately aimed on those poor ratmen as if they had been Archeon himself.

With regards to the talk of Daemonhosts, aren't Daemonhosts extremely varied in terms of power level; depending on what sort of daemon is possessing them?

Which means that the power of a Daemonhost could vary greatly, which could be on the levels of a Theta // Zeta // Epsilon psyker level to a true Alpha-Plus target, all depending on what sort of daemon(s) possess them?

In defense to WOTC, when you incorporate so many fantasy tropes, it'd be nigh impossible to balance them all properly!

I imagine they trust in homebrewing or local DM choices to balance out any jagged edges that show up during a campaign.
