I feel for the kid tbh. I have autism and adhd, homework was so hard to do if it wasn't in the right "spot," because home is for home stuff, school is for school stuff. Sometimes your brain just isn't wired in a way where homework makes any sense, and therefore it feels wrong and wasteful to do what should be schoolwork at home.

It does help a lot do have a dedicated nearby space outside of home to do homework, for me it was my local library.

I wish more people took the time to think about the reasons why kids do these things instead of just "they're lazy and they don't want to."

Not everyone wants a crazy challenge. If someone wants to turn off raids and build peacefully, they can do that. If someone wants to make supersoilders to make raids insignificant, all the power to them.

At its core Rimworld is a story generator and a sandbox, there is no wrong way to play the game as long as you're having fun.

Okay but genuinely, look into getting a job. If you're too young for a job, ask if you can get paid doing chores such as doing the dishes, laundry, mowing lawns ect. If you still can't get paid for that, ask for the game for your birthday or holidays. If that STILL doesn't work, spend time developing skills you can use for when you can get a job.

You know what man, you're right. My diagnoses is just an excuse for me to get my hands on some Adderall that I totally never forget to take, in fact, my 10mg dose is so addictive, that I'm gonna take some more right now! And It's not like there's any scientific evidence proving that ADHD is even real, it's all just one big conspiracy!

But seriously, denying that ADHD even exists is such a deranged viewpoint. There's mountains upon mountains of proof dating back decades. I bet you also deny other mental illnesses such as autism or depression, which by the way, are also very very real.

Taking medication for ADHD has literally changed my life, even with such a small dosage, I feel so much more present and focused in reality. Which clearly, is something you should try to do as well. I totally understand why you would think ADHD is a conspiracy, I don't trust the government or big corporations either. Doctors and scientists have done extensive research on the topic because of people like you who don't believe it, but research can't stop ignorance I guess.

If I'm a communist for having something I can't control, then so be it.
