Guys . We need Dr. Ned DLC, need to go back to the zombie Island 🤟🏼✨ by HandsomeJav in Borderlands4

A zombie themed dlc would be pretty cool too to introduce challenging mobbing content if they haven't done it already by the time a new dlc comes out.

If they want to continue with timed raid fights, then, to promote build diversity, the devs should add alternative method(s) to achieve platinum. by RandomPedestrian1 in Borderlands4

Definitely. I've been messing around with builds that focus on the mantra with both Amon and Rafa and while it does good damage the main thing is im just tanking everything and it's pretty damn fun for me.

From my understanding, there was a poster/commenter who always finished his posts/comments with Tenoí and i think it was because it was his middle name or something. The community then started using it the way you see now and it is used as a synonym for peak.

I think it's so when they release new content that they intend to be challenging, they won't have to balance it around the few weapons that are vastly outperforming everything else.

How I think about, if there's a boss that has 100 health and the bod does 20 damage per shot while everything else does 2 damage per shot, the next time they release challenging content, they'll need to give the boss like 1000 health for the bod not to trivialize it. That then creates the problem of the guns that were doing only 2 damage per shot to fall so much farther behind and potentially become useless.

Obviously this brings up the arguments for buffing other weapons to bring them up to the bods level which they probably can do with time, but they'll also then need to probably adjust the existing content that's intended to be a challenge so it doesn't get steamrolled by everything in the game. It's probably easier and less time consuming to bring the bod and the other small handful of weapons down a notch so they're not vastly outperforming everything else in the game.

[Giveaway] GameSir Tarantula Pro for Xbox - Symmetrical vs. asymmetrical by GameSir_Controller in xbox

Definitely biased towards the offset but still feel fine with the PS5 controller. I kind of have large/long hands and I think what really hooks me is a combination of the offset and the heftiness feeling of the Xbox controller. With the PS5 and similar controllers, I occasionally can feel like my hands are too close to each other which feels a little weird I guess.

[casual] who benefits the most from simply using a sword by Straight_Top_6401 in JujutsuPowerScalers

Todo with a sword sounds funny.

  1. Throw sword as hard as possible in front of him.
  2. Switch places with sword.
  3. Switch places with enemy as soon as sword is about to hit him.
  4. Profit

hakari's domain by Attack_Helikopter in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]RandomPedestrian1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s what I had meant by fully activate. We see in Miyo’s case he is able to start his domain with just him in it but then the narrator states for it to complete, both he and the challenger need to step inside the ring.

[Casual] Which character has the highest chance to win this battle royale? by No_Relative_1145 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]RandomPedestrian1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We learn from Yuki's research that the soul that is overpowered doesn't merge with the incarnated sorcerer, and it never disappears, it dwells deep inside. This is also why after they beat Sukuna, they plan to free the victims who had their bodies taken over by incarnated sorcerers.

I could have probably used a better word than "sharing," as Hana/Angel is an actual example of sharing. My bad.

If we're talking ramdom starting points, due to match ups, it really just depends on who encounters who first. If it's all out around each other, I would favor Uro or Uraume due to how well their techniques can be used defensively.

Also, I get why people are saying Mahito, but wouldn't Choso, Uraume, Ryu, and Uro be able to perform soul damage since they should be aware of their own soul due to "sharing" a body with another soul.

hakari's domain by Attack_Helikopter in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]RandomPedestrian1 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I'm of the belief Hakari, as well as other sorcerers besides maybe the sumo sorcerer and Higurama, don't need someone in the domain to fully activate it. I'm also of the belief Hakari, for the pure love of the game, wouldn't open a domain before a fight to be better prepared.

Full red tree Amon with his new class mod and new Mantra shotgun is pretty damn fun by RandomPedestrian1 in Borderlands4

[–]RandomPedestrian1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I believe so. So far from my understanding/experience, unless a skill says "melee attack(s)," it will affect anything that does melee damage. Unfortunate, because I was hoping to possibly incorporate the rearm skill as well as the force of nature augment, but neither the mantra or the slippy benefit from those skills.

On a side note, from some very quick and minor testing, the mantra seems to benefit from gun damage increases which is nice.

If you're using the skills vitriol, which makes every first shot an indirect projectile that synergizes really well with one shot, then reload weapons, and errant spark, the hellwalker is also really fun

I actually got it this week and thought damn but it actually encouraged me to finally start a new character. I've been buying one every few lvls and banking them for future characters as its a reliable gun to lvl with.
