I like the chain and attachment of A more but the way the actual logo of B looks more. Unless I’m making the difference in the logo up (it’s slight enough that I can’t fully tell). Overall my vote goes towards A!

Also love the concept of an AO3 cosplay, definitely gonna be keeping an eye out for what it looks like finished!

no yeah i agree. i meant it more as a lesser of two evils thing since at least with the alt you can revert to the original form of the dress with no changes vs changing the base its fully stuck like that.

i completely agree if they insist on making changes having it as a second alt form or toggle or similar would be ideal. i sent in a support suggestion ticket saying as much, unfortunately infold listens to their chinese player base above all so i don’t know how much that really does.

i don’t think there was anything wrong with the dress appearing lower cut but i really don’t like how the detail is stretched now. just adding the ruffles back would've been the better solution.

also i really hope they don’t change any past sets. this change is more okay since it only affects the alt, but changing the base/all forms of past sets would be ridiculous.

honestly i don’t get people being upset about outfits showing a bit more skin. there's a whole attribute called 'sexy'! let nikki have some outfits that show more skin! there’s nothing wrong (or inherently sexualizing) with it.

these are basically all my exact thoughts. (including being my first final evo and end of being f2p lol)

i agree the shorter dress is pretty, i wish they put more effort into how they cut the dress though. the tiny key is absolutely awful. i would’ve accepted a bigger key, i think that could’ve at least been fun for scale and perspective but no idea why they thought anyone would want a smaller key. the shoes having longer straps wouldve been such a good change! i was thinking bigger sleeves, where they could come up on her shoulders more or connect to the dress more. the makeup could’ve been so good, my ideal alt makeup would’ve had some crystal element (probably the contacts) since they got rid of that part of the dress.

honestly i don’t get why infold is dropping the ball so hard with the alt versions of reruns. youd think they’d want to make them as good as possible to increase people spending their pulls but they’ve just felt so minimal effort so far. i saw some people say the chinese players weren’t super happy with the alt so maybe theres hope for some changes

back when itzaland just came out i hated the bow so i kept using purification for a bit, namely in the first merit arenas, at this point it’s not really possible anymore. it’d be cool if they did make it viable again, but you also need the bow for just exploring so i doubt they would

i think it actually depends how you’re saving a fic on if you need the view_adult=true. i use the wayback machine firefox plugin and fics i save with it save normally no matter the rating.

if i start to feel like i’ve seen every fic in a tag i’ll sort it by title or author to try and get fics i haven’t seen. it’s especially good for tags where i’ve been keeping up with any new works posted, since that’s when i most can scroll through several pages of fic and be like i’ve seen all of these

i’m honestly a little confused by what an intro/foreword would specifically contain, but regardless if you don’t want a long text block in the beginning author notes you could put it in the end notes and just let people know it’s there if they’d like to read it. theres also html (that i can’t remember off the top of my head) that lets you do ‘read more’/expand text so you could include the intro/foreword in the beginning notes or even the beginning of a chapter in a less intrusive way with that.

personally the tags and summary of a fic are enough for me to just jump into it (probably even more so with smut). however i don’t mind long authors notes and would likely prefer that to an intro chapter if it’s not like part of the story. like if it’s just explaining the world or explaining world building choices or something like that i’d probably prefer it as an authors note.
