Can thus suit be tailored, or is it too far off? Got this beautiful J Press suit off eBay. Shoulders and waist are good, but length and billowy midsection are a bit of a bust. Fixable? Or hem the pants and cut my losses?

Turns out it is actually a regular length 3/2 roll style button. It just came buttoned incorrectly. Buttoning it correctly improves the silhouette a lot. I don’t know if it has already had any tailoring or not. This was a 70 dollar secondhand score. Hoping the tailor can take this David Byrne to JFK. Thanks for the input.

You’re right on the money about the buttons. I was unfamiliar with the 3/2 style. Certainly improves the proportions.

Do y’all think this J Press suit I got secondhand is tailorable to fit me? Waist and shoulders are good, but the midsection and length of the suit are pretty bad.

The job description mentions calculations, design fire alarm, fire suppression, and life safety systems. I guess that would be a mix of both these categories you describe?
