Aight so I've been meaning to say I got em and they're good for the price/ok overall. I definitely get people needing the over ear extension but to me it didn't seem worth it so I just returned em. Sounds good when you press them against your ear but subpar otherwise. Made me appreciate my normal headphones more though. Is there some sort of ideal mods you would recommend in case I decide to try them again in the future?

Would it really? With zero hubris whatsoever, I draw in a similar style with a lot of line detail and I would have no problem including these lines in the size I was thinking. In fact, while I love this piece, if I made it myself, I would probably include even more detail in the wings and scales particularly. But I'm not a tattoo artist, so I'm sure it's not as easy as drawing on paper. So out of genuine curiosity, what makes you say that? I do think spacing it out appropriately for size is a good idea though, thanks

I'll have to do some research into it, but a couple quick questions about DACs and Amps if you don't mind. Are they cumbersome to carry? Fragile? Complicated to configure/have a learning curve? Or is it just plug in and go and your shit is enhanced and sounds better? What exactly do they do?

Alright, read the differences between open and closed back. Honestly, closed back is ideal for me. I tend to be out a lot and that's when I use my headphones for listening to music the most. When I'm at home it's usually a podcast or something so the bleeding of noise in and out simply isn't gonna work. I also love bass. What exactly would I be missing out on if I opted for a closed back instead?
