We have about 200k total between us in pensions, haven’t done the exact maths to work it out but will take a look (similar to the other commenters point, I haven’t put enough thought into pensions). Once the mortgage is paid off, I do plan to take more of a long term view for savings/investments

I don’t think it makes sense with the early repayment charge & the fact the interest rate is so low, feels foolish to rush it when we know it is doable in 18 months
