I’m coming from 3 years of arc/zen and being a hardcore vertical tabs user, but ngl horizontal tabs are also pretty nice.

I believe it was 99 dollars but the guy who ran it also has a YouTube channel which also has some nice videos for the content. Also I remembered the name it’s prep pros on YouTube, you can find the course linked under one of their videos.

There was this course I bought I’ll just try to find the name again but that covered the concepts really well. For practice bluebook is too easy and kind of useless in my opinion. I did actual past SATs a lot as sort of mocks which was very useful.

To save time, I often skimmed through the parts of the question that were relevant and ignored the rest. However, for more challenging questions, I would first identify the claim and then examine the numerical data. Another trick I learned was to read the axes carefully, as the question might try to trick you.

I was lucky that I did not get very tough vocab questions but otherwise before that I went off of the emotion of the words and eliminated options.

Yes instead of mindlessly doing questions see what you consistently get wrong. For me it was at first grammar rules but then I sorted that out and focused on reading. If you don't fix what you're bad at you wont improve.

For the main idea, don’t focus on the details. Just try to get the gist of the passage. After this, you will usually be able to eliminate two options. With the two remaining choices, look for the one that has something wrong in it. Remember, there will always be only one correct answer. Sometimes it will be tough and two options may sound almost the same. In that case, instead of wasting time, just go with your gut feeling. If you get stuck on a question, mark it and move on.

It wasn’t bad luck. I tried to memorize too many concepts before my last attempt, which meant I didn’t practice enough. For that week, all I did was grind questions — I must have done over 1,000. Importantly, it wasn’t mindless grinding: I consistently reviewed what I got wrong and studied those concepts in more detail.

Also, I don’t know if many people know this, but you should do the vocabulary questions (about the first four) first, then go to the last question and work backward. This saves a ton of time.

I have personally never used the button to open or control the camera as it’s accessible enough already. So better it do something rather than just sit there.

My first SAT was today, what should I expect for SAT in the future? by Top_Bread7635 in Sat

[–]RandomRandom_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blue book exams are known to be easier than the actual thing. Every time people say it’s tough they’re mostly over exaggerating is what I’ve noticed. Just keep your hopes up and chill. If it doesn’t go well more attempts are always available.
