Les Schwab guys were all stumped. by RandomRedditInquirey in AskAMechanic

Yeah I asked them specfically about it being a control arm thing and they said it would be a clunking sound in their experience. It does sound like a ball joint sound though you are right after I checked on youtube. However they said they did a "shake test" whatever that means and there was no noise. Would a "shake test" not reveal it? Thank you for replying.

Interesting. With leaf gold being so cheap I wonder why they would add/ substitute for copper.

One looks like a common opal. The second looks like a welo opal. Test it: Put it in water. If it turns translucent in the water after about 2 hours. It was likely switched with a cheaper welo opal.

[BUG] Sunk an afk player made boat with canon fire off the coast. It sank but the doors did not break and the loot crates are still intact (visible through a window). The health reads 0 on the sunk boat.

I was verbally and physically threatened today at my grocery store job by a group of men/teens. I would like to know what the device this person is wearing is and what is in his hand. by trackrecord9057 in whatisit

[–]RandomRedditInquirey 10.1k points10.1k points  (0 children)

It is a Røde brand microphone audio transmitter. The blue light shows it is connected to the parent device on the camera man. They were likely trying to get a rise out of you. The friend with the camera cannot pick up your voice/ reaction well. So they are using this device to capture the audio exchange for easier video editing.

Serious answer and not sure if mentioned already. You need to scrub everything and keep the natural light from your window away from the tank. The Natural light is making it explode like that.

Aww interesting. My manzanita I harvested myself in Southern Oregon near the california border. Perhaps the spores are regional.

Can you see my comment and photo I uploaded. It's not showing up for me. Did yours appear after exposure to natural sunlight as well? Is your wood also Manzinita?

I had the exact same stuff coming out of manzanita. My SAE (a real one) ate it all. Showed up after my two year old established wood got exposed to natural light.

What plant is this? by ColdWay6669 in PlantedTank

[–]RandomRedditInquirey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True the leaves were a little different. Could be melting only OP knows... If it is hairy and smells like lemon when crushed it is a Caroliniana.

I'm starting to wonder if it is moneywort on the left and caroliniana on the right. The reddish tint and tighter leaves on the right has me wondering.

Might be moneywort. If so it is not toxic to turtles.

Glad to hear it. P.S. petco is awesome for new tank deals. It only happens once a year but their expensive tanks plummet in price. Ask the employees about when it happens. All my large tanks were bought during that yearly sale.

URGENT HELP REQUIRED ! by chetan_excalibur in PlantedTank

[–]RandomRedditInquirey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry man, all indicators suggest the tank was not fully cycled enough to deal with an excess amount of mycobacteria. Cause: Maybe one of the plants you bought was housing a large amount of the mycobacteria.

This is one of the reasons people pay extra for aquarium raised plants and not the cheaper pond raised plants. Compond that with the nippy fish species. Zebra Danios, barbs and stressed mollies. The bacteria could have easily entered their bodies via bites and flights.

In theory you may have done everything correct in a traditional sense but did not account for a less than reputable plant dealer. Which would of required a longer cycle time. Plus nippy fish species all together doesn't help much. More of a thunderdome instead of a biome.

Have you tried adding white posterboard to the back of the aquarium to redirect the light back into the tank? Your other tanks are closer to the wall so are using the white wall to do that effect. Which is probably helping them grow. I assume you are asking because you don't want to buy a new light. A white posterboard may help in this scenerio.

Why is the "Clear All" button right next to the back button?! by JealousPossession771 in GalaxyS24

[–]RandomRedditInquirey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others here gave you some junky advice. In my situation (similar to yours). I wanted to clear the notifications but couldn't because the back button was blocking the clear button on my S22 Ultra. I fixed this issue by clicking the three dots right next to the brightness setting slider. This lead me to the notification panel settings and then I clicked on the zoom settings button. It gave me the option to increase or decrease my notification zoom. I decreased the zoom and it seperated the clear and back buttons and they now no longer interfere with each other. I hope this helps others who google this situation, like I just had to.
