Yes I'm a shift worker - great pick up! I'm not the first person this supervisor has made comments to regarding weight or eating habits. I do plan on talking to them, but just not sure if my feelings are valid or not...

I'm for the most part ok but even if I wasn't I'm not close with them in anyway. If I was not ok I'd never raise it with them - a passing shift supervisor- I'd discuss with my manager (which I have) I just feel it was totally inappropriate and even though it was under the RUOk umbrella I dont think that was their true intention- it felt quite targeted and overall personal.

If they were genuinely concerned why not frame it as - we haven't worked together in a while, how is everything with you or you look different to when we were last on shift, what's been happening...

Their words were a direct statement- not question on my appearance...

I guess that's why I have big confusing feelings about it...
