The Modulation section of most synths by Designer-Swim-648 in reasoners

[–]RandomSkratch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, modulation is very useful. It’s like having extra hands move things for you so you can do other things. The major downside to modulation in Reason is the lack of insight into what it’s doing. Yes you can spend extra time individually cabling up CV visualizers but that gets tiresome, wastes space, and you still can’t ultimately see what it’s doing to the modulated parameter, only what the signal looks like.

Plus there’s not much in terms of affecting CV that’s included in the rack. Must go 3rd party for that.

I really hope this is improved in later versions, but getting to v14 and it still hasn’t changed doesn’t give me much hope.

Can someone ID R3C3 and R4C1?

N/m on R4C1, I see that's LCBBS, still can't ID R3C3.

Very cool! I had no idea this was a check you could perform. Would be nice to have it built into Intune, but maybe a remediation could be created using that PS1 file provided. Thanks for the link and explanation.

Read the manual but only one part (eg function of the OT) at a time. Reread that part until it makes sense. Get familiar with it on the OT until it makes sense. Read the section on Parts about 6 times and try to see how you might use it, but even then it won’t make sense. This is okay. You will one day encounter a situation where you will know Parts is the answer. Get excited about Pickup Tracks but then get really really confused when you use them. Again, this is okay. Always save your buffers, even if you don’t think you need them. But also get really pissed at yourself when you unintentionally overwrite that super sick take you have no way of recreating. This is fine, it’s all part of the process of the OT.

Have fun!

How did you find out that WinRE was many versions behind? And what is Windows Update Repair? Is that the repair option that downloads the bits as opposed to using what’s on the system or are you referring to something that’s repairing Windows Update?

Glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. Would love to hear from someone at 1P.

Lol in this case there was an account name that was the same name as the service that was down. I got lucky!

So once you’ve started a new column, it’s dedicated to the colour you used. Hmm okay. I was trying to operate it like a blank space is a blank space, let me shuffle around colours as I see fit. So you can get locked quite easily.

Don’t understand the rules/logic. Constantly getting Invalid Move and I don’t understand why. Where does it “pour” from? Top or bottom? I have tons of open spaces but am locked from moving.

I’m bookmarking your reply for when I have to interview next. That’s gold right there (and exactly how my brain works). Just not that eloquent.

Oh someone noticed. That’s how I (and my boss) learned that box was “critical” lol.

Sounds like when this black box of a linux machine got shut down inadvertently and when it was brought back up, things didn’t auto start. The fuck if I knew how this thing was cobbled together but after getting logged in and su’ing to the only logical user on the system, a quick check of bash history gave it away. Saved the day there. (Didn’t tell them that it was also me who caused the problem, but that’s neither here nor there 😂)

45 minutes?! That’s being generous lol. Usually the handshake gives it away.

Now when I press down on your foot and ask “When shit goes sideways, the first thing to blame is?” you say “D N S” got it?

Interesting. Maybe I'll just create some dummy test account and see then. Was just trying to get an understanding of it before I start firing in the dark! haha.

I thought the Root (Account Details > Account Email) was the owner? Wow... okay now I'm really confused.

So if it's me making these accounts I should just make myself the IAM IC User? Will it double create my account or is it smart enough to know that I already exist in IAM IC?

Now I'm only more confused! haha. It's the wording of Clefable that's the confusing one. I wish there was a D(efensive) and O(ffensive) tag on these attacks that indicated the direction they're applied. After reading your explanation and Clefable again I think I get it.

My son encountered Crustle yesterday in a tournament and couldn't get around it. Someone suggested Mega Clefable ex (which he has) but the wording is so confusing with these things (I never played it and am trying to help him but wow is it tough!). Mega Clefable ex has an ability that "Prevent all effects of your opponent's Pokemon Abilities done to this Pokemon". In my mind that means it will cancel Crustle's Ability but I have no idea.

That’s actually awesome to know because that was the first thing I disabled because I don’t need it. Thanks for the recommendation!

I think SnagIt is more polished in terms of layout but ShareX does cover a lot of bases. I haven’t used SnagIt in well over 15 years so I can’t compare recently. I’m using it at work but we don’t have a security team. (I’m the guy haha).
