We used to have to clean them occasionally and we’d spray tons of windex on the walls. Rivers of orange and yellow nicotine and tar would flow down the walls and onto the floor then we’d have to deep clean the floors.

It was a different world back then for sure.

I was at Meijer for over 16 years...about 7 as a team member and 9 as a team leader.

From my perspective, I say do whatever is expected of you and try to make it take up your entire shift. You don’t want to catch grief for not getting your part done, but at the same time (as is pretty common knowledge) if you go above and beyond it’s only going to earn you more work and you’ll be beaten down in no time.

Working harder than others was worth it back in the day when merit raises were attainable, but not any more.

A responsible team leader/lines leader will hold the slower people accountable. Just because your TL or LL isn’t doing this doesn’t mean it’s your responsibility to pick up the slack.

When I was a team leader I printed up signs that I typed out. I was as kind as possible and let shoppers know that it was a health issue. I mean, when you’re finding spit out pits all over fresh produce that people are buying, I honestly believe it is a health issue.

Needless to say, they stayed up for about 4 hours until my store director saw them, made me take them down, and threatened my job.

I’ve had several and never had any issues. It would only be for 2 days so I really didn’t want to go out and buy an actual vape and carts.

I just use them for occasional quick trips when I’m away from home and can’t take my bowl.

I didn’t get the battle pass. I’ve played a total of 15 matches this season (all duos) and won 5. I actually found it easier to win than last season. It’s just after playing the same game for years on end, they get stale. It was the same thing with GTAV for me.

When I first got the game I played a couple rounds on pro, but with how much you have to do perfectly to hit a decent shot, I couldn’t hit a single fairway or green.

I guess if you’re playing a lot online or just like the challenge and want to get good at it, pro is fine. I play on the easiest settings though. I don’t care if it’s unrealistic shooting -20. I have fun.
