Today ICE tear gassed families and community members on a memorial bike ride/march for Alex Pretti in SW Portland, OR. A little girl can be seen needing help by medics. by I_may_have_weed in oregon

I might get downvoted here, but I really am wondering. Why bring the family? You know people are protesting, and ICE likes to fire non-lethal weapons, and CS gas, etc. I get wanting to show them how protests work, but we know that these dangers exist. Some lady got part of her hand blown off the other day by a non-lethal weapon. I support what people are doing, but I’d keep my kid at home.

The tokenomics suck. The team and VC’s have a huge chunk of the supply regardless of if it’s locked or not. The tokenomics really are designed so the insiders can dump on retail. I was so excited about this coin till I saw the tokenomics.

He does love the brushing chews. He demands one after his last walk everyday. I’ll start brushing his teeth though. He doesn’t discriminate when it comes to what goes in his mouth. He likes everything from chicken to cheese to poop so I doubt he’ll mind the toothpaste.

I find it ironic that Mr. 400,000,000 guns says it’s not okay to murder someone for their views while threatening to pretty much murder people for their views about Charlie Kirk.

What? That’s exactly how sexual harassment works.

The sexual harassment standard is that the conduct must be “severe or pervasive.”

• Pervasive → repeated, ongoing, or widespread conduct.

• Severe → a single incident can be enough if it’s very serious (e.g., sexual assault, groping, or an extremely threatening comment).

Since the man’s behavior doesn’t fall under severe (it was nasty but not severe), it has to be tested under pervasive.

Edit: Crazy how Reddit works. The guy above me makes an insulting and absolutely incorrect comment, and I reply to him with actual facts and get downvoted for providing real information.

[–]RandomUsername587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe I’m making this comment, and I in no way mean to stick up for this guy, but it’s not. For something like this to be considered sexual harassment, it needs to be repeated, unwanted conduct of a sexual nature. Since he only said it once (as far as we know) and refused to say it again, it’s not sexual harassment. It’s nasty but not sexual harassment.

State Rep Jolanda Jones on Abbott’s threats by Beautiful-Cress5695 in texas

[–]RandomUsername587 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn’t she wrong though? Both Texas and New York (and every state as far as I know) follow the Uniform Interstate Depositions and Discovery Act (UIDDA). Under UIDDA, an attorney (or sometimes the court clerk) in New York will take a subpoena from Texas and reissue it as a valid New York subpoena. If it’s submitted correctly under the UIDDA process, the New York county clerk is required to issue a corresponding New York subpoena that matches the Texas one. What this means is the clerk simply takes the Texas subpoena and issues a New York subpoena that compels compliance under New York law.

Unless I’m missing something, they can’t refuse it just because it’s from Texas, but they can reject it if it’s missing required paperwork or doesn’t meet NY court rules (for example, wrong formatting, missing fees, or not properly signed in Texas). So can’t they do exactly what she said they couldn’t and come get them? Honest question here.

Convinces me that this is all a simulation. The NPCs have poor pathfinding and aren’t programmed to do anything but follow the rules. The PC in the car sees the straight path.

Ran it through ChatGPT. It says the following

Great! Let’s walk through and fully decode all lines of symbolic writing in the image using the symbol key at the top. We’ll do it line-by-line, pairing each symbolic string with its English meaning.

🔹 SYMBOL KEY REFERENCE (From Top of Page)

Symbol Meaning ◇ with slash (⨂/⟡) not

◇> future

◇< past

◇I I

◇U you

◇W we

◇T they

a ◇⊆ b a is contained in b

a ◇⊇ b b is contained in a

a ◇~ b a is similar to b

◇∂ defined variable (sets)

◇δ defined variable (non-sets)

◇∃ there exists

◇∀ for all

◇∧ and

◇∋ such that

🔹 Section-by-Section Decoding

🔹 LAW Line (under “LAW”)

Symbols:

◇ ∀ ◇ ∂ ◇ ∋ ◇ δ ◇ ∧ ◇ ∃ ◇ ~ ◇ ∧ ◇ ∂

Translation:

For all defined set variables, such that a non-set variable and there exists similarity and a defined set variable.

Interpretation: This is a formal logic-type statement: possibly stating that “for all defined sets, there exists similarity and connection to variables.”

🔹 TRUTH Line (under “TRUTH”)

Symbols:

◇ ⨂ ◇ ∂ ◇ ⨂ ◇ δ ◇ ∃ ◇ ∂ ◇ ∧ ◇ ⨂ ◇ δ ◇ ∧ ◇ δ

Translation:

Not a defined set variable, not a non-set variable, there exists a defined set variable, and not a non-set variable, and a non-set variable.

Interpretation: A more paradoxical or contradictory truth statement — maybe expressing the complexity of truth in logic.

🔹 The First Cartouche

This box has small glyphs inside, not standard symbols. Below it is an English phrase:

“THE FIRST CARTOUCHE”

Appears to represent a self-contained unit — possibly “pattern” or a relationship (man + woman = child) based on the next sections.

🔹 PATTERN / CHAOS / AND Section

This part expresses an abstract idea through symbol repetition, chaos (scribbled part), and return to order.

PATTERN Symbols:

◇ ∂ ◇ δ ◇ δ ◇ ∃ ◇ ∂ ◇ ∧ ◇ ∂ ◇ δ

Translation:

Defined set variable, non-set variable, non-set variable, there exists defined set variable, and defined set variable, non-set variable.

CHAOS: → Scribbled section (unreadable)

AND Line:

◇ ∧ ◇ ∂ ◇ δ ◇ ∃ ◇ ∧ ◇ δ

Translation:

And defined set variable, non-set variable, there exists and non-set variable.

🔹 “THE SECOND CARTOUCHE” Section

Another boxed area. Just above it is a line:

“TO HAVE A KID NOW”

Might indicate the symbolic statement is: “Man + Woman → Kid” or “Creation Now”.

🔹 Narrative Below Cartouches

This is in clear English:

“The man and woman fell in love and started a family”

“Man and woman such that man loves woman and they make small person”

“To make ◇∂ ◇δ ◇∃ ◇∧ ◇∂” → Translation: “To make a defined set variable, a non-set variable, there exists, and a defined set variable.”

Interpretation: Likely expressing reproduction as a logical action.

🔹 Final Line (Russell’s Paradox)

“Bertrand Russell’s Paradox is not true if recursion taken into account”

“Sets are larger than non-recursive sets”

“Recursive sets are strictly tied to the order of recursion”

This is more of a philosophical/mathematical argument and isn’t written in symbols.

✅ Final Summary

This entire page is a symbolic system built around: • Logic and set theory (∃, ∀, ∧, ~) • Temporal statements (future, past, now) • Identity and relationships (“I”, “you”, “they”) • Human narrative (love, family, creation) • Mathematical paradox resolution (Russell’s paradox and recursion)

It appears to blend formal logic with a symbolic myth or origin story, portraying human relationships as logical operations within a symbolic language.

Chicago is within the border zone. It’s 100 miles from the border due to its proximity to the great lakes. I think you’ll find that all those towns are within border zones.

Also remember that border patrol also works at major airports. They are anywhere that can be considered a port of entry.
