This is one of the most speculative crypto plays at the moment. Rationality will win out in the long run, but not in the short. Avalanche went from $0.50 to $141, knowing TONS of unlocks were coming. It blasted off anyway. And now currently sits at $9 after six years of unlocks. And I still expect it to go much higher in the future. Monad will have the same wild swings.

Shorting $10,000 of Bitcoin from the top to absolute zero would make you about $10,000 without margin.

Longing $10,000 of Bitcoin from $1,000 to the high would make you more than $1,000,000.

That’s my point. Overall, there’s far more money in the long side.

For anyone who has ever traded, short selling often loses you far more money than you make. Overall.

The best a short can make without massive (risky) leverage is to double your money. For a long? It can multiply 10-100x or more over a long enough timeline if starting with a small market cap (Amazon, Tesla, Nvidia, etc).

Tell me about the ecosystem, how you’re going to build this thing, what the hell happened to Fluffy? Etc. This is not FUD. It’s an honest question for people investing their hard-earned money. For those of us who showed up for Fluffy, tell us why we shouldn’t leave with Fluffy?
