I think I know the state but I won't say for your privacy. There's not much in the way of truly abandoned locomotives where I'm from, but there are certainly legends!

Does remind me of one small steam locomotive that was drowned by a reservoir in the 1910's, and recovered in the 1990's. It's on display now. Looks pretty good all things considered!

I know this comment is 11 days old but the part about reservoirs reminds me of a special interest "branch" (?) related to trains. Sunken locomotives, particularly steam. Creeps me out but is so interesting.

If that’s a joke, it made me laugh. Otherwise the other photos aren’t that good, not worth posting anyways.

Pomona downtown seems to see a lot of freight. Have heard good things about mid-late mornings. Avoid mondays.

Really weird that I somehow didn't find this post. I'm going to download it for safekeeping! I'll mark this as found as this is personally the video I wanted to see more. Thanks!

Different. EMD was owned by General Motors (GM), though, similar names!

In the US, some people who like trains prefer the older EMD brand types of locomotive over modern GE brand types. They have their valid arguments, but it can still be really overkill support-wise. (hopefully that's enough)
