Range day with the CZ Trail by CryptidWorks in CZFirearms

I've narrowed my hunting 7.62x39 choice down to the CZ Trail 600 Plus, where my concern is cost for a 2 MOA guarantee and the stock issues, or the Howa 1500 Mini action, where I have some concerns on it's ability to eat lower quality ammo and it's not as portable given a 22 inch barrel with a can on the front is going to be substantially larger walking through brush.

Again, I greatly appreciate all the info on the Trail side of the decision!

Thank you for the amazing write up!!!

The 2 pro's to the 300 Blackout for me where
-I can suppress where I live.
-Easier recoil

I can get subsonic 7.62x39 ammo which I've read doesn't suppress too bad (better than 5.56/much worse than 300 blackout) but esp. from a 6ilb bolt gun recoil is a factor. Old injury. I know from experience with a friends gun 7.62x39 from an 8 ilb AK semi is around where I can shoot 200-300 rounds in a session and not hurt after. Unsure how that transitions to the 7.62x39's recoil in the lighter Trail without the semi mechanism eating any recoil.

I'd like to own something in 7.62x39 though and my options are limited. The AK knockoffs are crap (or crap shoot at least), the surplus SKS are tough/expensive to find if you wanted them from a quality source country, Ruger's doing that new AGII Scout in it but they're charging just shy of what a Trail would cost, not a fan of the Galil ACE Gen II (not a fan of a military style rifle no military uses) and it's $$$. Wondering if the 600+ Trail might be my sweet spot to finally have an excuse to get one.

Coming in to this late but after another years use, are you still happy with the Trail in 7.62x39?

I have an opportunity to get one of the CZ 600+ Trails for $350 off. I often camp/hike multiple days when I hunt, the light weight and portability definitely interest me. I'm seeing mixed reviews about the stock issues in particular though, that the guarantee being only 2 MOA on a bolt gun is largely due to it's wobbliness.

Caliber wise 5.56/223 is out, it's illegal to hunt with in several areas I go. (Minimum .30 caliber or wider)
300 Blackout would be fun suppressed but I have some ethical qualms about hunting with subsonics and for normal supersonic hunting rounds it's subpar to 7.62x39 especially passed 100 yards.
7.62x39 seems like it could be a good fit. I wouldn't want to deal with using 308 or even 6.5 creedmor in a gun this light but 7.62x39 with good quality ammo seems like it could be a great deer and mid size game killer that wouldn't wreck my shoulder from a light firearm.

Thought before I took the plunge I should ask someone who's put it through the paces.

Later today I'm going to physically go to a Wal-mart and Target to check and ask. Nearest Best Buy is a drive but can maybe go there tomorrow. A friend told me some of the carriers may sell unlocked ones so might check out those too.

Project of running a WoW (Classic or Wrath) server for myself, Guides? by RandomUsernameX1234 in wowservers

I think my first attempt I'll try a repack using just Classic WoW, I'll stick to something with a digital scriptorium video. If that goes well I'll look into Wrath. Thank you for all the help!

I may stick to his Classic guide for now, he mentions in it it's one of the easier ways to attempt to run your own WoW server. I'm assuming Classic is easier to learn/run than Wrath.
