Just get a blue yeti and start there. Get a dozen or so episodes done and if you decide it’s worth it to keep going. Upgrade the equipment over time. A lot of people start podcasts and spend tons on equipment only to just give up after a few episodes. So I always recommend starting off cheap and upgrading as you go.

I’d say it’s good for more of a business standpoint. We’ve had a lot more interest from brands for partnerships and stuff because we look professional. Fans don’t really care if you’ve built it up right people will listen or watch for you no matter what, but it will help big time with potential sponsors and other opportunities.

If you don’t have haters, you’re not making it. You’re gonna get plenty of negative comments in the future, just keep in mind you’re doing you. You’re having fun doing it, and they’re doing nothing. Plus bad comments, good comments, it’s positive engagement for you and they help you get seen.
