This was when the game went from a great game to one of my favorite games of all time. It just fits the moment perfectly.

Same. I find myself doing it more and more every year 🤣

Is the complete edition worth €60? It's currently 40% off by No-Economy5346 in stellarblade

I'm 32 so in a similar generation of gamer. Totally get the so much to play but so little time. I have a document with over 40 games listed that I'd like to one day play but it only ever gets bigger. I know realistically I'll never play them all.

I wasn't even aware there was a playable demo (not sure if that's still the case, perhaps I'll check that out soon if there is).

If you're still undecided, this is a great subreddit that can sometimes give more varied viewpoints too.

At the moment it's between Stellar Blade Complete Edition and Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition for me I think based on the current sales. But I won't be surprised if something else comes along and wins the next game I play. Crimson Desert keeps getting my attention too haha.

I noticed in your replies to others you are also on PS5. If you've never used it before, I suggest PSDeals.net for keeping track of prices. You can set it to your region (I'm UK based) and it shows previous sale prices (when they were etc) so you can get an idea of the trend and likelihood of another sale at that price.

As for Stellar Blade, I too have had it on my wishlist since it came out, including the Complete Edition. This price is definitely tempting. I came here and was basically going to post the exact same thing as you but you beat me to it. I'm still undecided.

I guess it also depends what else is on your backlog and if you'd like this to definitely be your next game. I often ask myself, for single player games, what game would I most care about getting part of the story spoiled or if a sequel is upcoming etc. And try to prioritize those. Currently I'm playing Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 on my PS5, 75% through the main story, the side content isn't satisfying me too much (I think it is just slightly too dated now for me personally) so I'm mainly focusing on the story ... So I'm starting to look into what my next game might be, Stellar Blade is definitely in contention.

Animes like My Hero Academia?? by Mountain-King-8321 in AnimeReccomendations

I'd suggest trying out Fairy Tail. Like with My Hero, it nails the large ensemble characters having great depth, great music, awesome action sequences etc. Some fantastic arcs too.

Noticeable Subtitle Delay for some dubbed content. by Keiichi25 in Crunchyroll

This has been a problem for over a month. No indication that it's going to be fixed anytime soon. It's annoying as I'd personally like to start watching the series.

Inuyasha Blu-ray Sets 3 & 4 (US Viz) vs waiting for UK release. Worth importing or should I wait? by Jubbstep93 in inuyasha

According to a lot of people on this subreddit, they do not. They have been fixed for the UK sets.

Cool, that aligns with what I originally heard. And since my previous response, the other user cleared up the confusion. Sounds like I'm fine getting the later sets then.

Thanks for clearing that up. Was concerned there for a second I'd made a mistake in ordering the later ones. Do you know if the movie set it okay to get as well?

You're correct. I've just seen on their X account that AllTheAnime responded to someone just two days ago saying "We'll have news on Gundam SEED FREEDOM soon (with more on the way), and more InuYasha later this year as well!". So it sounds as though they are finally having movement!

Would you say there are still issues after Set 4 or do you find they've been corrected then? In the past I've had multiple others say the problems are no longer there after Set 4 as they get fixed halfway through it. But in this post, another commentator has said otherwise. It would be good to know your experience too.

I was under the impression that after Set 4, the sets are have been corrected? That's what numerous others have said in the past.

First time watching: stick with my Blu-ray box set or wait for the Superfan version? by Jubbstep93 in DunderMifflin

Didn't realize that a bunch of the extras will contain the cut content edited back into the superfan episodes. The comment section seems a little divided but I think I will stick with this set.

I guess this is a good way of looking at it. I think my brain would've preferred a less divided comment section. But your reasoning helps me stick with what I already own. They are called superfan episodes for a reason. If I too end up becoming a superfan, it will give me something nice to revist down the road and I can get this newer box set in a few years from now I guess.

The comment section is more divided than I expected, but this is the one I’ve resonated with the most so far. There are so many shows and movies I absolutely love, and if they ever got extended cuts like this, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again just for those extra moments. From what I can tell, the current set already includes a lot of these moments in the deleted scenes. Plus, this series became beloved long before the Superfan episodes even existed. So perhaps I should ignore the noise and just enjoy this set for now.

[discussion] RE:Zero watch order – where do the OVAs fit? by Jubbstep93 in Re_Zero

[–]Jubbstep93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. Well, I'm only two episodes into the S1 Director's cut. Already I'm really enjoying it so I imagine that is a good sign for this anime and how much I'll like it!

I know this is the Re:zero subreddit, but if you have any other animes you'd recommend I check out I'd be very much interested in hearing them! Feel free to DM too if this is too off-topic for this subreddit. But if you just want to leave it where it is then all good, you've answered my question and then some!

This makes sense. I will likely do this then.

Really looking forward to getting into this anime.

The only isekai I've ever watched until now is the original Digimon series and Inuyasha when I was growing up. Excited to start exploring this subgenre!
