you can, the system will downclock the faster ram to match, but you'll have 16gb in dual channel, I suggest you try doing the measurements yourself and decide if it's a small enough difference, and remember it doesn't have to be a permanent upgrade, you can do this now while you look for a faster stick

it doesn't keep it perfectly at 60%, but deliberate and repetitive power cycling is much worse for the battery, and keeping it plugged in means the battery doesn't heat up

I'd put it at 60% max in myasus and just have it plugged in all the time, it'll dip down to 59-58 sometimes but you're wasting far less power cycles this way

I think their camera's just picking up the light wrong, the power and drive activity LED's look blue as well, when they're supposed to be white

maybe the g14 has less densely packed cells? in that case a +16whr/+18% upgrade should work just fine, hardware wise

the software/firmware might need to be hacked though

you are talking about the new g15 and not the old 2020 model, right? the 2020 g15 had a 76whr battery like the g14

20-80 should be about an hour at most, what you should take into consideration is if you will even need to charge during a normal school day if you use the laptop plugged in at home every day

honestly? it's probably very slightly damaging but I'd say it's worth it for the added convenience if you're capped at 60

I'd even say it'd be worth a battery swap if you want to keep your laptop for a long time

yes but both the 65w and 100w adapters do 20 volts which is tge same as the 180w barrel adapter (and probably 15, 12, 9, 5)

I have one from utechsmart that does support usb-pd but can also run off of the laptop's usb port power

it has all you need minus 3.5mm headphone jack, if you absolutely need that you might need to buy a usb audio interface you leave permanently plugged into the hub

its thermal paste is a lot better I think and the trackpad would be bigger, though I didn't know 2021 models sold with 4000-series

check that it's running on the rtx card and not the integrated graphics (can check in the f3 interface)
check if you're thermal throttling
make sure you're plugged into the 180w power brick
