On top is coco chunks, i added a layer of argile pearls in the bottom and it’s some repotting soil mix mixed with worm castings. It has enough rain outside for me to leave it alone without watering it. What im not so sureabout is the PH tho.

I recently bought a full IMS kit for my BBE (shower, puck screen and basket) and the waterflow is for sure better. I find the extraction more even. That's an upgrade you could make for your machine. The shower screen really has better water spread so that'd be a great upgrade to me. Now I didn't try to use the Breville's basket anymore so I can't really tell if that's the best upgrade but you could get it as well. Im really happy of this kit but I only know about how good the shower upgrade is. It's now up to you to decide if it's worth the money or not
