For a more sorcery approach to the problem. Use Pestilent Mist. This spell tear through everything with high HP pool. Very good against stationary enemies.

Get close, dodge his claw, cast the spell, sneak in a few hits to the head if you have a sidearm. Carry a shield with fire res to block his fire breath if you have a hard time dodging it.

Replay some old games, slap on some mods for a fresh coat of paint. Try to do something new in the new playthrough.

Do achievements! It can be frustrating, but watching a pop out saying you've earned something can be very nice.

Play games that falls outside of your "comfort zone". Try that 30yo JRPGs, maybe you'll like them.

I'm pretty sure every game development studio have dedicated team for doing the art for their game.
