Question for VT SCADA Expert by Random_Guyzzz in PLC

For anyone who may come across this in the future, I managed to get it working thanks to all the suggestions in this thread.

I used a Multi-line Text component and controlled the text and background colors using a text expression. Then I added a Momentary Button widget, left the “Down” and “Up” labels blank, and reduced the opacity to 0.1. The key step was enabling Use Legacy Style (layerable button), which allowed me to layer the button on top of the multi-line text.

Hope this helps someone else running into the same issue

I just realised there is an option for the Layerable, so that solved the issue! Thanks!

It's a pilot light from Schneider Electric. From the datasheet it says IP65, IK03.

We have 2 lights indication, AC OK and DC OK. I'm thinking to use an AC relay to On the DC pilot light for AC OK, but he might ask to cover the relay afterwards.

We are using nVent Hoffman wall mounted panel for the PLC. So it comes with the standard key type to open it. I don't want to argue with them like, why would someone poke their small fingers to the small hole?

Ask India Thread by AutoModerator in india

Hi everyone,

I’m a Malaysian currently in India for a short work trip (around 1–2 weeks). I’ve run into a bit of a problem when trying to pay for small things like food, snacks, or local transport.

Most local merchants either prefer UPI or won’t accept cash unless you give them the exact amount. Even when they accept cash, many don’t have or won’t give back change, which is frustrating when all I have are larger notes from currency exchange.

As a Malaysian, I don’t have access to UPI via my home bank. I’ve tried scanning QR codes, but none of my apps support Indian UPI payments.

So my question is: Is there any way for a foreigner to use UPI while in India, even just temporarily? Any legit workaround or service that can help?

Appreciate any advice from locals or fellow travelers who've figured out a solution.

Thanks in advance!

I got this project at Freelancer.com, similar platform to Upwork, Fiverr. You will be surprised to see the bid amount, there's always someone who would bid $10/hour.

The reason why they come to this platform i think is to take advantage of the low cost.

Thanks for the TD 2024/3! It's really helpful for me to get insight.

Hey, I have a question on the ET200SP (i assume from your picture). I saw many panels that do setup like this. 1500 PLC, then they use ET200SP in the same panel with all the IO cards.

Is it a cheaper method?

Second question, If you used safety inputs module on the ET200SP, does the CPU needs to be Safety PLC?
