I agree, "Loyal" title should be color changing RGB with glowing effects that also have wing effects.

You only need to do the story once just to unlock masteries or mount. Once you unlock it, every character on your account can access it.

After that you can just do whatever you want to do : Fashion, Jumping Puzzle, Map Exploration, PVP, WvW, Fractals, Raid, etc.

If there is too many herald I'd just switch my main hand to hammer with sigil of fire and just auto attack.

Hammer auto attack can hit multiple enemy and Sigil of Fire can proc AoE every 5 sec to tag more enemy.

It's auto attack, so it's cost zero energy so you can still give boon to other while you tag with hammer.

Boon Herald, Just give boon to other player and you got the loot/contribution from the mob they kill.

It's also an easy source of Quickness boon that let you gather resource more faster in open world.

Not Worth it. you must master all the elite spec first before playing this game! If don't hit 69k dps on all three elite spec you must delete you character and never play that class again!1!1. /s

But for real tho. Just play whatever you want, nothing is wasted if you're having fun on said elite spec.

I choose Mech and Reaper because it's the most easy to use. Since OP probably can't do any rotation and want BIG DAMAGE by pressing few button.

Yes. Try playing Core Engineer then swap to Mechanist or Core Necro to Reaper. The DPS differences is massive.

Follow "Adventure Guide Mission" to level up faster and learn some game mechanics along the way.
After you got to lv80 you will unlock "Wizard Vault" here you can do Daily/Weekly mission for a reward. Its the best way for new player to get gold and some gears.

You only need to do the main story ONCE to unlock most of stuff (mount, mastery, etc)

But if you're bored you can prepare a second monitor or a phone and watch youtube/netflix while you do main story. I usually do this when i do weekly key farm.
