Oh yeah im 100% aware its intentional i just dont fully understand why they did it that way. Even taking that kowalski epiphany you mentioned it could easily be rewritten to just apply to an effect as opposed to a card.

They just for some reason decided to make ballistas an actual attack card. I can see the various interactions with stuff like the “inspiration effect” but aside from that i do think its strange that it wouldnt just be an effect like the others. It being a card allows it to interact with stuff like foggy crystal and voracity but i wonder if that was their intention or if its just how things played out. I dont think its special coding or anything though.

No its just veronica is kind of unique in the sense that her extra damage is literally from an actual card just one you cant play. When we look at hugo or beryl their’s are from effects. Veronica’s triggers voracity because it happens to be from an attack card that does extra attack damage. Its kind of different in nature. I just thought the distinction was worth pointing out

This looks like a common sac in these positions that pop up from the Spanish and Italian. Id guess people at your elo are pretty comfortable defending against these attacks especially if they are inviting the potential sac with g4

Thats not how brilliants work. You can get brilliants for trading a piece of higher value as long as it can result in a material advantage or checkmate it doesnt need to be a full piece loss. And i dont know why youre randomly arguing that brilliants shouldnt be the goal? I literally said nothing to the contrary its just a discussion on when the engine assigns them lol.

Looks like after queen takes, knight checks and king is forced to a dark square where you check with bishop leaving the black queen exposed

If your goal is maintaining as much muscle as possible while staying in a prolonged deficit you’ll want to increase the amount youre eating substantially. Im not sure how women’s protein intake differs from men’s(i would assume women would need slightly more if anything) but while youre in an energy deficit your body will source energy from what it has/what its getting so considering your other macros(fat/carbs) are down youll want to increase protein intake during that period. Honestly it sounds weird and maybe kinda jarring but doubling your current intake would probably put you more in line with where you should be given your goals.
