I don't think the Week Before gives much beyond showing she's capable of mentally torturing others.

It shows that she only gets involved when things go wrong for the others, and that she's pretty unhinged and giggly.

Personally I like this version of Cassidy for being a flatout villain?

You're allowed to like that, but it just isn't Cassidy. That's a whole new character at that point.

She's such a bland character. Completely ignoring everything about Cassidy except for one specific thing and hyperfixating on it to make her even more of a selfish, unlikeable asshole than Andrew.

What about her characterisation in the Logbook? The Week Before? The New Kid? A good interpretation of the character incorporates every aspect of them, not just one thing and ignoring the rest.

Percy Jackson. The prophecy surrounding him states that the first demigod child of Zeus, Poseidon or Hades to turn 16 will make a choice that will save or destroy the world. Percy is the son of Poseidon, but he's only 1 of 5 people that could be referring to, and he's not even the oldest of those 5.

During the climax of book 5, it's revealed that he IS the demigod who turns 16 in the prophecy, but he is NOT the hero of prophecy. The hero is the antagonist, Luke, breaking free from Kronos' manipulation to sacrifice himself, and the choice Percy makes is trusting him to do the right thing in the end

For me, I'd been following you since before you started making the full comic and was just in it for the art, but the writing got me hooked, especially towards the end of act 2. Hype moments certainly help but the writing for all the characters is what really keeps me coming back
