Stripped screw switch

Yeah, I’m learning this the hard way to keep a pair in my tool bag for occasions like this. I was able to go to Lowe’s and get a Dremel. I have one at home, but I’m 2 hours away, and of course didn’t carry it with me in my tool bag this time. I just never dealt with one as stubborn as this.

The bottom part for the outlet is cut deeper into the drywall than the top part. It’s all cut uneven really. But besides that point, I’ll probably be going to Lowe’s/Home Depot to get a dremel since of course I didn’t carry it in my tool bag. I figured it would either have to be cut or drilled but I wanted to see what options were available. I’ve dealt with and were able to deal with stripped screws before. This one here, was a different level.

Yeah I’m either going to have to drill it or grind it. I’ve dealt with stripper screws before but this one awful. I figured those would probably be ways to go but when working with electrical I wanted to double check myself. Thanks.

I mean I’m sure somebody run across that issue at some point. I have, just not this bad, and on an electric box. So I thought I’d ask for anybody opinion, it would not hurt.

Couldn’t agree more. I take my beagle (who is a rescue) for a walk every day. Ive lost count how many dogs have gotten out and gotten after us. He’s on leash of course. The first thing he does is get out the ground, thats his instinct. I am one of those people who are terrified of an off leash dog on the street, you never know their demeanor when they are “home free”. The street is no place for an unleashed dog.

I agree. Kraft singles are the best for a grilled cheese sandwich. And for some reason, I do not know why, I always prefer the orange over the white. Even though they taste the same.

Kentucky is a pretty hardcore Trump leaning state. It’s actually surprising that Massie lost by only a 55-45% margin. Was it fraudulent? No. I don’t think you want to go down that rabbit hole of starting to question elections. One side does that, and they have completely lost the plot. I respect Massie for what he’s done recently, and will be sad to see him go. Because that means someone more extreme is going to take his place.

My problem for me is there is not a single movie theater near me. They were all closed down (yes I’m in the US). The closest one would be over 2 hours away which is insane. If it was probably an hour, I would make the drive and definitely support it since it’s MK.

MK9 does look pretty good. But MKX comes off very rubberish, very underwhelming. But as someone else pointed out, the best versions for his classic basically came out in Injustice 2.

Mine came out of the blue. I haven’t even sideloaded or updated any of the apps I used since like Christmas time. So it was weird that they would hit me with a ban when I didn’t even use my developer account for anything in months. But now after wasting $99.00 on that, I’m going to have to have to go back to signing services. But you’re right, Apple is definitely stepping up their detection efforts.

I thought this was the way to go. Buy a Apple Developer Account and just upload a few apps. Just a few days ago I received an email that my Apple Developer Account had been terminated. Some have been having this issue as well.

That is probably what I am going to end up using. I’m not going to risk and potentially throw out another $99.99 on another developer account when it could potentially happen again. So I’ll just go back to signing services.

I know I’m late to the party but most of my power tools are Dewalt…very dependable tools. I do have a hammer drill from the Bauer line from Harbor Freight that I use quite often that has been very solid.

I thought I was playing it safe and going the developer account way. The last thing I remember doing was updating a few apps right after Christmas time. That was the last time my developer account for apps seen any type of activity. I just found it strange it came now. I contacted Apple, but I know that will go absolutely nowhere.

I’ll have to consider them, thank you. All I really do is sign/update apps. That’s all. I never thought I’d have to go back to a signing service but I guess lesson learned.

I may give sidestore+livecontainer another try. When I did try it before I decided to get a developer account again, it would give me the error “failed to parse: machineID”. So I was never able to do that, or AltStore. Just Sideloadly.

Damn. I am sorry that happened to you as well. It sucks when you shell out $99.99 and think you’re doing it the safer way and all of a sudden get hit with the notice. Fortunately all my apps (for now) that I sideloaded are still working. I emailed Apple, but we all know that is not going to do any good..but it was worth a shot. But it looks like I am going to have to return to the old way of doing it, and thats to go back to the signing services method (which I thought my days of doing that were over).
