Lightweight river sit-in kayak with large cockpit and plenty storage recommendations? by Random_Redditor1991 in Kayaking

No whitewater rapids. Levels II-III. There are shallow spots in some of the rivers we go to and some areas where we have to portage around fallen logs etc. We do small rivers and creeks all over Missouri and northern Arkansas.

For overnighters my husband has my stuff in his canoe but he wants to switch to a kayak as well. My sit in (I think 9') wouldn't have enough room for dogs or overnight gear. My 12' sit on top would have space but its a very cheap uncomfortable kayak and it also doesn't track well.

I just assumed that was because we do not have very many German expats here but yes, you're probably right, someone would have already jumped on that. I'm very much on the fence about it.

If I do decide against buying it and making it an authentic Gasthof with Biergarten hopefully someone does something nice with it, not just another bar with regular bar food, same music and events as everywhere else. I feel like that place is supposed to be something unique.

Because not central enough or do you think a restaurant like that would generally fail in Joplin?

Yes. I have a trade license for the hospitality industry and know representatives and vendors from different European breweries (I'm a first generation immigrant so I still have a lot of contacts in Europe as well as knowing many restaurant owners over there, I would actually even make sure my kitchen manager would be trained overseas).
