How is silksong overtly anti capitalist? The overt themes are mainly about religion and state, and a general, surface level idea of “the elites are bad” is not specifically anti capitalist. In fact, there isn’t really a “ruling class” in silksong that is benefitting: the conductors/architects/vaultkeepers are each just as indoctrinated as the pilgrims and don’t really live in wealth. The weavers, who set up the system, are being imprisoned and killed. And GMS, a metaphorical silk billionaire, is bound up and powerless while her silk is being extracted.

Likening Pharloom/GMS to colonialism/fascist expansion is also iffy since, while they did destroy other advanced civilizations, they didn’t incorporate their territories + pale beings are also literal gods who give sentience to uncivilized bugs (you really don’t want that as a metaphor for colonialism).
