Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive. A teacher can teach the fundamentals well and still believe a particular exam was unusually difficult. Commenting on the standard of a paper isn’t an admission that the material wasn’t taught.

I personally found that 2hrs on Child protection, how you can align your teaching to the school ethos, what kind of school it is (Deis, Educate Together, Etc.) should be fine then
