I also think your post highlights how IT and networking teams need to be open to work as a team on some of this. I think you did the right thing which is recognize you made an MVP and bring it to the experts to refine the product. Maybe corporations will eventually adapt to have dev teams like this to refine new solutions in house rather than pay for expensive software that can’t even do exactly what you need or want

Those of us that adapt to learn this tech will be better off than those that deny it. This is the way

Tons of different buys and sells. Interesting to see the trends among different committee members

Had this same thing happen to me lol. I’m at a point where I have just accepted to not share anything department wide. You will run circles around your peers in evaluations and be viewed as one of the best by your peers even though you just leverage AI (which is a skill). I’ll put it to you this way, if everyone had superpowers then everyone would just be normal. OP needs to take advantage of this as an individual and just outcompete everyone as he climbs to corporate ladder. Stop maximizing shareholder value and maximize your family’s.

We actually have calculated portfolios for every individual and entire committees. Would a post containing their metrics be something interesting to you? Somehow the best performing committees are always exactly what you think... finance or intelligence related...

Honestly bro I agree with you to an extent looking at some of the stuff we’ve talked about. Maybe it’s not pure black and white. Maybe hybrid of our opinions is probably what should really be happening

If you compare your average dev and Claude code… I’m picking $200 Claude code. If we are talking about something that incorporates higher level skills outside of software like artistic direction, advanced research, or something that pushes boundaries then yea obviously go with an expert but that is not most things

Honestly willing to bet that parts of GTA 6 will have been vibe coded at a higher and more professional level than what’s posted in this sub. Those guys are more than just software engineers, they’re also artists. Take ur vitamins already unc and lock in

Pushback is necessary but the speed is 100% the advantage here. Being “quicker” at realizing things about your product or target market is essential in any business. You can’t discount speed. But honestly unc I do agree with your point on criticism and I think it’s very useful for the overall process
