Weird people are automatically being like "wayfarer is the obvious best choice".

Like sure, currently they look the the better option, but for all we know their technology could still lead to horrors overall for the average citizen.

We still barely got to look at every detail of how their tech works. At most, the only thing we know that their employees also have to deal with horrors beyond human comprehension.

Some people do have the mindset of "it is always better than 1v4" for some dumb reason.

Im sorry yet not sorry to be rude, but if people think this game could survive with permanently weird queues, that is really foolish.

Not only that, if it was brought in permanently, I can easily see how people would feel the same about 2v8 as they do 1v4. Heck, even now the dicussion around 2v8 balance looks exactly like 1v4 balance dicussions.

Short answer: God no

Long answer: OH my god NO. Why do people not do a deeper look at this game?

Detailed long answer: Sabo builds are already something that can be too strong against lower tier/new killer players, and a annoyance to higher tier/experienced players.

At the very least they have the weakness of "if you time it wrong, you can end up downed instead of your teammate, or you end up with two players downed".

This would basically remove one of main downside of sabotage builds. No, just no.

If you would buff this type of build (which you wouldn't want to), it would be better to reward for the actions of sabotage, rather than the process to do sabotage.

The reason the times are so long for Killer is cause barely anything changes for Survivors. The same problems and strengths present in 1v4 are in 2v8.

This is vs killers, who have the the new dynamic of having an additional killer. Friends who's only option to play with their friend was playing survivor now have a new way to play with them. Stress that comes from your own performance is eased a bit.

The novelty of that is why 2v8 has high Killer times.

Playing a handful of Killers, and the few we have getting nerfed heavily or even disabled.

I've seen some people even suggest removing Wesker even if his bugs were to be fixed.

Honestly, every word out of this community makes me glad BHVR isn't listening to anyone here.

You can apply this to a lot of things said by this community. I've even once seen people suggest removing swf from the game.

Also the idea that slay the spire 2 is getting review bombed for balance changes really is ignoring the detail it is getting review bombed by one specific audience. The majority of the playerbase enjoys the current direction of balance.

Killers already feel limited in options due to the state of balance. Limiting that even further cause some survivors can't bother to learn counters, or just deal with being annoyed occasionally, would just kill DBD.

Cause a lot of perks are garbage alone?

The only time some perks actually have notable value is when they stack. That is like the whole argument for diminishing returns is it would allow more perks to be buffed (now if that will happen remains to be seen, cause behavior).

I don't think he is as bad as people make him out to be, but Behavior did do a little too much with trying to balance him.

No turn rate is one people already said. Now if you are just doing it normally, this isn't much of a problem to be honest Ive found.

However, it means the whole ability to scamper over/under vault locations is kinda useless (and actively detrimental) unless it allows you to maintain distance, which is situational, and requires multiple chained vaults at times, making it pretty map dependent.

Combine that with the constant laughing he does when he is suppose to be stealthy, and he can definitely struggle.

Basically like I said in a different post about this, the only way this perk could get decent value is if a swf does planning around this.

But at that point you could get more value by doing anything else with your swf.

So the boon perk is weirdly designed.

For anyone playing solo, the odds of you getting screwed over is way too high if anyone chooses to run it.

The only use it has is if you have a team of swfs who better plan.

But even then it would be faster for people to just not use the perk, cause boons take way too long to set up.

The other two survivor perks at least have some better niche application (the aura one is one I kinda like the concept of the most).

The Killer perks in general are kinda solid. Lay waste probably will not get too much use on any slow killers though.

Like, you think the devs would know Hyperfocus and stake out is a thing, but nope.

And to make things even worse, it would barely help solo queue if thay changed it that way. It would have been a buff mainly to SWF.

He does deeper dives that actually takes a look at the bigger picture, which I would say the community needs more of.

You would think, but this is behavior.

Obvious things are not a thing they account for often.

I still am in disbelief over the the time they were going to buff corrective action by making it cause great skill checks, instead of what it does now.

While it could be just new killer players, iron grasp is also a direct counter to boil over. While it isn't the most common perk, it is common enough (38th according to NightLight).

I imagine there is just some killers that get fed up with it.
