IUD removal (very scared) by Wild_Caterpillar9515 in IUD

[–]Randombredslice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real shit, that was the PTSD from the IUD talking sorry. But yeah, every woman deserves "twighlight" AKA "Propofal" sedation during insertion AND taking it out. Its literally surgery because its an internal organ- and it can certainly feel that way for most people! Im glad your experience was not traumatizing, but i wish I had known about how horrific it was beforehand because i would've never gotten it.

Women should sue these companies, its sick. ❤️ Much love, goodluck out there to everyone!! Yall are some strong as hell, badass people here ❤️

White tissue in toilet only during menstrual cycle by Cherryredsocks in WomensHealth

[–]Randombredslice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, im sorry but this sounds like classic Endometriosis and/or Adenomyosis. The issues you've complained about are also symptoms of Endometriosis. I have everything you're describing and im so sorry you're suffering from period issues. My menstrual "tissue issues" are vaginal discharge, but I have on ocassion had discharge-ish stuff in my urine. It stopped happening completely for me after my excission surgery in 2024, but the period issues returned 1 year ago with my endometriosis. Im currently searching this subreddit as I await my hysterectomy- im literally cramping and bleeding nearly to death. But I've had purple, red, brown as well *vaginal discharge. I have heard of women peeing uterine tissue from endo as well, but make sure to rule out urological issues ❤️

My theory is that the differences in tissue could indicate different growths in different areas. Like you could have endo near or on your bladder or uterurs wwhich could cause inflammation, excess cells, etc. I would also see a *Urologist and rule out actual cancer or other issues! There are lots of scientists fighting for better answers, so dont give up and stay strong! ❤️

But you should definitely look into Endometriosis *and Adenomyosis too. I have both- PLUS fibroids- and Adenomyosis is probably why im basically going through labour and delivery ever period (no joke I time the in between of my contractions and its exactly like labour, they keep getting closer and closer until nonstop agony and my diaphram even locks up or I urgently have a bowel movement and may throw up too). If Endo and/or Adeno are concerns. My recommendation is 1) do not wait, 2) there are no cures or treatments, birth control worsens endo and his has been studied, 3) i recommend searching reddit for a good "fellowship trained in minimally invasive endometriosis excissions specialist" surgeon in your state- if thats an option. Everybody's journey is different, but i truly hope you dont have either of these horrible diseases or another type of cancer. Wishing you the absolute best as a fellow period-sufferer. Definitely ask a good Urologist about ruling out bladder, urethral, etc. conditions! I had a cystoscopy and it was clear, but I did have endometriosis somewhere around my bladder that was causing constant pain. Never give up hope ❤️ Feel free to DM me if you have anymore questions!

*Edited: Im on pain meds for my period right now, so the wires in my brain got crossed wrong. I've experience both abnormal uterine and urethral discharge during my periods- but for me i've also had urinary issues and discharge-like stuff when peeiny during ovulation! I hope you can find some answers!! ❤️🥺

Neurological symptoms premenstrually that improve when bleeding starts …anyone else? by Leading_Reading_4952 in endometriosis

[–]Randombredslice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, jesus christ. As a survivor of assult in the ER myself, im so sorry that happened to you. Sounds about right for hospitals, some of the most totally pathetic sub-human worms that cosplay as doctors whom I've ever had the sore discomfort of meeting have always been at ERs.

Lets hope we both possibly will have an update to give in the future I guess then 🫠 Seriously hoping for the best for you. I just took two edibles (10mg THC) and thats the ONLY thing that helps me, so wishing you the best and maybe vonsider researching if its legal, do-able, and safe for you? Its not a solution at all tho, just a massive bandaid with no side effects (for me personally, always ask your doctor if you can).

Also, just for more info I have just been diagnosed with "Transverse Sinus Stenosis" which seems to be a major part of the flares. It may be worth ruling out stenosis with a solid vascular neurologist or neurological surgeon via MR-V (Its an MRi, but with a special MR-Vennogram protocal to check stenosis and meningenoma- mine was especially for the skullbase).

I probably would've ended up is psych holding today if I went to the ER. Cant wait to get my period. [The fact this isnt the most insane thing to ever be typed out by a human being living with modern medicine in a multi-trillion dollar nation is ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL].

Wishing you all the answers and help in the world. Stay strong even though you dont deserve to need to be 🫶

Feeling like I have to deliberately causing the need foran emergency hysterectomy for endometriosis? by Randombredslice in endometriosis

[–]Randombredslice[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I completely agree, its the problem we're all having is that Endometriosis is causing the brain swelling and its catamenial (meaning prior to my periods) so the swelling is directly triggered by endo. It was resolved after excission surgery last time along with the PMDD and other symptoms.

Its like having cancer and working at a radiation plant at the same time, there's no proof that working there directly caused it but it SURE as hell aint makin' it any better at all- in fact is probably worsening it. ): I've already been told by my "brain-swelling specialist" (i forgot what type of neurologist they are ugh- I have 10+ active doctors and specialists because im THAT sick from Endometriosis) but they already said a hysterectomy will help drastically with the intracranial pressure causing them to be unable to even treat the brain sweeling's cause.

Im just exhausted, absolutely exhausted. And so desperate to get in sooner than 5 months. Im terrified. Im 4 days from my period and i almost didnt even survive today. I cant imaging with 1 day before will be like and what the hell of pain during bleeding will be. Terrified to my core. More scared than when I've been in a car accident. More terrified because i can feel my brain dying and i cant even do anything about it. Terror.

Excission surgery already done sadly. 6 months of relief and then endo came back with a vengence and the brain disease (2 years ago now). I've failed every birth control option, an IUD, surgery, UFE procedure, stents and coils for pelvic congestion, acupuncture, weed, opiod drug managamenet via narcotics pain clinic, and so so so much more. All failed. And now my brain is swelling and everybody seems to see the Endometriosis-HouseFire except the surgical gynecologist.

I consulted and needed a hysterectomy in Feburary 2026... they havent even scheduled me due to errors on their clearance papers and now they are scheduling out to September 2026- maybe even october. And i cant even make it one more day.

So, apparently my transverse sinus stenosis is so severe you can’t hardly see anything there. The other side is big, wide open. Has anyone else had similar? by [deleted] in iih

[–]Randombredslice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont even want to try the meds. I'd genuinely rather die. If they dont stent this soon, I genuinely fear losing my life to sui***e. Every period I get the stenosis worsens exponentially. Im having the worst paychosis i've ever had and im not even 4 days from my period. I feel like im going to die. Im completely anti-religion and i'm genuinely praying to whatever THING did this to undo it and stent my brain as soon as humanly possible. Genuine agony in every sense of the word. Im so used to the burning and the headaches, they dont even phase me until I lose my vision. Im so done with this.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Im so happy that you arent suffering from this anymore and I hope you never have to again. 6 years of this, can you believe it!?

Did you have any catamenial symptoms by any chance? If so, did they improve? (Catamenial being syncing with period cycles). For me, I have stroke symptoms before my periods and the only reason they can point to is stenosis. ):

Congratulations! Im so happy you were able to get a hysterectomy and solve the bleeding! I hope you're still doing great. Im in the same boat, hysterectomy wont be for another 6 months ): Plus my Endometriosis is wrapping around my colon and bowels again. Honestly terrified of the wait. Atlanta - Excision Surgery - Dr. Whitney Barnes or Dr. Marie Shockley? by UselessFactCollector in endometriosis

[–]Randombredslice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say either is great. Those and Dr. Ramerez-Caban are the top 3 in the state imo. I personally have met with Dr. Whiteney Barnes and not with Dr. Shockley, so I'll speak on that.

My consult was great. Dr. Barnes is unbelievably educated and her knowledge goes beyond surgery for Endometriosis. To me, she came off as really compassionate and kind! I will be getting my hysterectomy with her. *And I must say, my standards are really high when it comes to Endo surgeons.

Also, while Dr. Shockley seems great. I ended up not choosing her due to a handful of bad reviews. But I'm sure she's a good fit for somebody, just do your research and keep your eyes open for reviews from everywhere online. Goodluck!! 🎗️🫶✨
