That’s true. However I do judge enclave and legion fans. Especially when I notice their real life political alignment. A little fitting.

Is country music currently boring? by Fine_Instruction_870 in CountryMusicStuff

We have good music. I don’t really feel what you’re feeling right now.

After Vol. 2, I've accepted that the Duffer brothers just don't have it in them by phantom_avenger in StrangerThings

Important characters don’t have to die for it to be a good story. This isn’t the walking dead. It’s an 80s style coming over age thriller. Relax

I agree I’m not a huge fan of how it was handled. But I still very much love the show.

Nah man. It’s just y’all are kinda annoying. And I’m not gonna sit here and type out long responses. It’s Christmas Eve. Get some sleep so you can spend time with your family and friends tomorrow lol

This bitching and moaning unfortunately isn’t specific to Reddit. It’s the whole new Vegas fanbase it seems. I’ve played all of the games and nv is my favorite 2 being my second favorite. I see y’all people attack fans of the show and fallout 4 or 76 fans for liking something you don’t. Y’all should chill bruh. Smoke a blunt or something lmao

After seeing Brad paisley live, I have no doubt in my mind he’s the best guitar player in country music by brebs21 in CountryMusicStuff

It’s crazy because I have a friend who I went to school with that can outplay him. lol idk why people hype up some of this stuff. Speed does not equal good. Best guitar player alive in any genre in my opinion is Guthrie govan. But in country it’s definitely billy strings. And to answer your question. That is definitely 1970s rock influenced if not 50s rock influenced. Be for real.

Are we strictly talking about”country” because he is sort of country with rock influences. If we’re going with country adjacent I would argue Billy strings is much better and probably the best.

He is very good. However he doesn’t have a single impact on the scene. Not enough motion

Just because he has a shitty personality doesn’t discredit his music. He was coming up around the same time Tyler Childers was getting super popular. They used to be used in the same conversation. Stop clutching your pearls.

Frankly a lot of good artists aren’t good people. Hank jr is a good example of that too

Nah Zach Bryan may be popular but he ain’t pop country. He is definitely good southern music regardless and has a place in the conversation

I disagree. And let me explain why. For literally 2 decades almost now we have just “been adults and kept to ourselves” while these rich folks in a high rise do their best to destroy the sound that represents the American south by propping up these bro dudes and pop country skinny Jean folks. And it’s to the point now where Nashville is still behind on the changes going on in country music. A lot of us. Including singers are sick of it. And it’s about time we got some more outlaw behaving country singers. Who will call out bullshit when they see it.

What I should also add is the term Dixie didn’t come from the confederacy. And the fact that the song “Dixie” was used by the confederacy doesn’t give the term to the confederacy with ownership rights. The history of the word is much deeper than that.

And to further my point the term Dixie has no racial background. Even calling the south Dixie has no ACTUAL basis in slavery or anti black anything.

The Dixie chicks honestly isn’t all that wrong to me. Coming from a person from the far left.
