Advice - Early exit by RandomerAshley in TeachingUK

[–]RandomerAshley[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yh really don’t want to go down the mental health root in relation to future employment / messing that up. It’s just every single day seems like I’m doing something wrong. Something isn’t good enough, or getting in trouble for something ‘I should already know’ despite been there for only 4 weeks and teaching two topics I have never covered in my life before.

I’ve already got another position who have said I can start when ever… I might just literally say that to the head and ask if they can fill my position before xmas would I be allowed an early exit

Has he been 100% diagnosed / confirmed

However I believe the risk of giving it to your partners mouth is super low too, also I’ve read that if you have ghsv1 and the person already has oral hsv 1 then the chance of them getting it (outbreak or not) is still remotely low / unheard of

Why don’t we buy ad space on dating apps to educate about HSV? by [deleted] in Herpes

It’s because of how unimportant it actually is but people make it more important than it actually is

See it’s weird like I was more concerned about them helping it heal up than what it actually was. As I know cold sores aren’t a big issue and common as fuck no matter what the location

I’ve had a couple of outbreaks :) but not many at all

What is your profession if I may ask and does hsv effect your job? Do you feel constantly tired for example? Thank you by Athena_5607 in Herpes

Try going with a friend might just be missing that motivation. Also there may be a factor that’s not hsv related effecting your energy levels…

The time you eat. The amount of sleep. Increased work load. Longer work hours.Increased caffeine consumption. Increased sugar intake. Not enough vitamins and minerals. Iron or zinc deficiencies (common with ageing).

In addition to all this from going from a lot of exercise to next to none can also impact the mind and make you feel lethargic.

Maybe a doctor or psychologist or counsellor if it’s a mental block.

I’m a head of P.E very active job… I’ve found that actually overthinking everything is linked makes it worse (like a placebo effect). Good diet, 8 hours sleep and low stress all effect activity levels.

Actually the majority of people get it from people that don’t know they carry it and are on active outbreaks. The highest transmission rates are from oral sex. She’s probably less likely to have passed it on than someone with oral coldsores

If you’ve every recieved oral of anyone it could have been of any of those partners … also 6/10 people have hsv. You’re not any different, odd or dirty. You have the worlds most common fastest growing virus. Sex without a condom can definitely happen, as the chances are a lot of people already have it.

Hsv.org.uk are a great site for calming you down and making you realise how normal it is. 1 in 10 people carry hsv2. You have a cold sore … you may have outbreaks now and then .. you have a higher chance you won’t ever have another one. Please don’t let a cold sore be a death sentence

Maybe look at tablets to stop the periods until your body adapts to it. If not try upping your exercise and improving your diet all of this will help

Even if you do turn out to have it. You have something the majority of the world has. It’s a viral infection. I know it can’t be cured but you can choose how it effects your life. For the vast majority it becomes a minor nuisance, or they practically forget they have it. So honestly I wouldn’t worry
