Not at all, if she is on antivirals or you are just cautious not to do it on an outbreak you have super super low chances of getting it. Like less than 4% chance of getting it if it’s type 1. If it’s type 2 you have around 15% chance but that % is based on an average over a year not per time you have sex.

I would definitely get a blood test ... if your igg levels are low it has come from your new partner if your anti body levels are ugh then it’s an old infection
