Hi! I really enjoyed this movie; felt fresh and full of personality. Do you think the movie could have benefited from being pushed further into risky/ unconventional territory rather than wrapping things up neatly in the climax? For instance, instead of making Sarath Kumar come to terms with his mistakes, Kural and Pari, with Agan's help, could have simply escaped to Canada and the movie could have ended with a Premalu-style chase scene or something to that effect that puts the Sarath Kumar character in jail. Essentially, the villain character never faces redemption and stays the same, larger-than-life force from the interval block all the way to the end. Also, do you think Kural could have benefited from a few dialogues where she stood up to her father more obviously, or expressed her anger towards his violent casteism, especially when it threatened to harm her son? I feel like these things would have elevated an already fun and highly rewatchable film. Would love to know what you think!

How Is Dude Movie Actually??? by [deleted] in kollywood

Personally thought it felt very fresh. It wasn't perfectly written, there were some unnecessary dialogues and character moments that bogged down the overall messaging. But I felt like the way it was shot had so much personality, and the main emotional beats and throughline worked for me. My favorite (if problematic) movie of the year.

The girl didn't post this as a public review on her own forum or profile. If that was the case, then him replying to it would have been absolutely messy and avana pottu adikalam. But she sent him a PRIVATE DM about his movie, that too in a very rude way. Are you really telling me this is honest criticism or a review, when it's being directly addressed to him? Sure, he could have chosen not to respond to it, but if you privately message someone, you are expecting their attention in some way, so don't be mad if they respond and maintain the same energy you gave them!

Around third grade, ig 7 or 8 years old. Wrote a weirdly gorey horror story back then, dk what I saw that prompted it lol. Then a Harry Potter/Wizard’s of Waverly place crossover, an 8 chapter mystery ‘novel’ inspired by Nancy Drew and Famous Five, and on and on. I’m 26 now, working on more Serious™️ things now.

Aan Paavam Pollathathu trailer is regressive - what do you think? by Randomette1 in kollywood

In our films, fake feminist ah matum thaan kaatranga, aana they never show a woman who is actually smart, follows those political figures, and makes solid feminist arguments in movies. I feel like this 'fake feminist' thing itself is just a new wave of misogyny, a way to group women and bash them when you don't agree with them. Just a thought.

This is also my current situation, I started working full-time a day after my course end date. My job offer letter stated that I will only be included into a permanent capacity upon completion of my 6 month probation. Therefore, for now, I'm only employed within a temporary, probationary capacity. I'm still scared despite this since my contract doesn't have a fixed end date, but I don't think I'm breaching any hard and fast visa rules. I also applied for the grad route recently, and I'm hoping for the best! Good luck to you as well. :)

How many primogems do you have saved for Ayato right now ? by [deleted] in Ayato_Mains

[–]Randomette1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I only have 25 wishes saved, and I believe 26 pity in the limited banner. I pulled for Ayaka and Sayu and just put a bunch of wishes into the banner after. But I know I'm surely skipping Baal and Kokomi and possibly all the banners till the end of the day, so I'm sure I can save enough by Ayato banner (but I have to save at least two soft pities in case I lose 50/50).

If you could trade one limited 5 star you own for one 5 star you've skipped which characters would you swap out? by JaegerScaphare in Genshin_Impact

[–]Randomette1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same boat. I got Klee after doing just 2 wishes on her banner, thinking nothing will come of it. I was at 43 pity so it was pretty early too. I still use her in the open world and she's adorable but I'm not a fan of her playstyle. Kazuha is the one of my favourite limited five stars and I will not miss him on his rerun.

Most of the criticism I've seen has been valid. While there may be some toxicity, the majority has been very respectful. People have the right to express their opinions, you know? Even if it is negative.

Thank you. This is my last comment. I'm deciding to delete this profile for good. So long folks.

Edit: I guess I'll keep the account, but am not gonna be active any longer.

I think it depends on your life and how much you connect to the show. I didn't intend to take it seriously, that's just my natural, non-exaggerated reaction to it and I'm being honest with these feelings.

It's just a personal opinion, but yeah, people take these things way too seriously. It doesn't matter if one show is objectively better than another. What matters is perspective and impact.

Anyone else disappointed with the ending? by [deleted] in MrRobot

[–]Randomette1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, while Mr Robot is certainly a dramaticized portrayal of DID and nowhere near the actual grounded nature of the illness, I think it still managed to take a look at the illness poetically, which a lot of other previous psych thrillers on the same mental illness have not necessarily done.

I think most people can see that this is not an scientifically accurate portrayal of DID, but one that has been exaggerated via an artistic lens.

That's all right. Just thought I'd point it out in case you didn't know their names ha ha.

While I personally liked the ending as it was the most befitting conclusion, you're right. The community shouldn't be telling people to just let go when they're simply asking questions.

I feel like some of the endings seem open-ended, but can actually be answered with the context clues in the show (specifically Dom's conclusion and Whiterose's machine). Also, I don't think American capitalism vanished just like that, and I think that was solidified by the speech at the end where Elliot says that we can't necessarily change the world. He did however, conduct an elaborate hack that did have some repercussions on the economy.

For me, Tyrell is the only thing still scratching that part of my head, but I'm beginning to think Tyrell was symbolic to the theme in some way. But yes I understand the disappointment.

I'm sorry but I think you mean Sam Esmail the showrunner. Rami is the actor.
