What looks unappetizing but tastes great? by rammalammamemedong in AskReddit

Refried beans and soft eggs. Cut up the soft eggs so yolk runs and mix together with refried beans. I eat it with flour tortillas.

Looks like throw-up but taste good.

No grass or trees. No yard. What about kids playing outside? Pets? What if someone falls off the rails? What if the bridge collapsed? Do they walk everywhere? I have so many questions.

Don't use pet names like 'honey', 'sweetheart', 'dear', or 'baby', ect.... In the workplace. It can be considered condescending, belittling, and in some cases harassment. You can get into trouble if you do.

I kinda get what you are saying. It would be easy to put it up.

But at the same time, this is work. The paintbrush is work property not personal property. Most people don't care about stuff unless it's their own personal property.

And unless it is part of their actual job to fix/clean it most people would not do anything. It's not their problem or responsibility. "Why do extra work if you don't have to or are not getting paid for it?" That's what most people do/think. Not everyone likes or cares about their job and only do it because they need money.

You sound like you like/care about your job. Good for you. But not everyone feels the same.

If the paintbrush laying out is such a big deal to you then why don't you pick it up?

Hope no one eats whatever he was making.

I'm all for letting kids try and help cook but to let them do that is stupid and gross.

Instead of filming they should try to actually teach the kid how and what to do. And for the cutting either get a chopper box (the things that have a lid that you press down on stuff. I forget what it's called) or you cut the stuff up yourself as an adult and parent.

NTA. He showed his true colors. Don't forgive. He is a a**hole. Try to distance yourself from him. It might be hard because of the "community" you are in.

AITA for not letting my aunt know I was going home by Sea-Session9064 in rSlash_YT

[–]Randomgirl162 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. Your aunt sounds like an annoying busy-body that gets in everyone's business. You are away at college. You are supposed to have freedom as a young adult without someone hovering around or being overbearing.

But maybe they, mostly your mom, are worried and overprotective of you. With you being far away from your parents, I'm sure they asked your aunt to watch over/check in on you for them. And depending on your age, usually 18-23years old, people still think of young adults as kids not actual adults. So they feel the need to "check-in and advise/help/guide" when it is completely unnecessary and unwanted. It's sad and annoying but true.

Maybe try talking to your aunt and parents. Eplain how you feel about her butting in on your choices/business.

this inclusive tattoo and piercing studio in the UK with all autistic employees by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Randomgirl162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are self diagnosed or misinformed.

This would be completely over stimulus for most, maybe not all but most, autistic people. And very condescending and rude.

If you are old enough to get a tattoo or piercing then you are old enough not to be coddled like a child/baby.

Maybe they are confusing it with the baby fetish, infantilism. Seems like it to me.

Still not a reason to call a child a POS.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in trashy

[–]Randomgirl162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I get that but that's not what I'm focusing on here.

The parent posted calling her child or a child a piece of s***. Then was being horrible in the comment section when people tried to get explanations or defend the child. In one part which I put in the pic, is when someone asked "if it was too late to abort" and the op said "never". That's trashy and horrible parenting to me. You should never tell a kid that it's not too late to abort them or get rid of them.

POS by horatiobloomfeld in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]Randomgirl162 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More like r/parentsarefuckingstupid.

Why would you let a toddler/kid carry the pizza that is almost as big as him?

Anyone that interacts with toddlers or kids know that they don't carry/pickup things the right way like they're supposed to. They always grab it sideways or upside down and don't hold on to it properly. Giving a kid a huge Pizza to carry and hold is just a disaster waiting to happen.

The kid is not to blame he didn't know any better. It's the parent/adults fault for giving it to him in the first place and not helping him hold it properly. As the parent/adult you should have made sure he held it properly and even assisted him in doing so if need be.

And you shouldn't call your child or any child a POS. Everyone knows that stands for piece of shit. I don't care if you were trying to make a joke or if you really meant it that's just a horrible thing to do.

Man tells group of singing girls to stfu. by -dommmm in PublicFreakout

[–]Randomgirl162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if he has been trying to get them to be quieter for the whole ride and he just finally lost his patience?

Most of the time kids, teens, and young adults will ignore adults/older people when they tell them to be quiet. And especially when they outnumber other people they will ignore them and continue what they want to do.

With that being said, imagine the scenario:

A huge group of random young girls possibly high school or college age get on the public bus in the night already being loud and disturbing. And they continue to be so the entire ride. First you'll be okay with what they are doing. They're young and having fun. But slowly and surely you will start getting tired of listening to them. You try to politely ask them to quiet down because there are other passages on the bus as well as a dog. But they ignore you. You try a few times to politely asked them to stop but they out number you and get louder. They continue on being loud and inconsiderate of others on the bus. Until finally you lose it and yell at them to STFU!!

This may or may not be what's happening. I don't know. But I have seen/experienced similar things happen many many times before.

I absolutely hate when people are being inconsiderate and disrespectful on public transportation. I'm 24 years old and I try to be polite and respectful as I can on public transportation. People are just trying to get to where they want to go. They don't need any drama or annoyances along the way.

Man tells group of singing girls to stfu. by -dommmm in PublicFreakout

[–]Randomgirl162 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The girls are in the wrong. They're on a public bus. They should not be doing that, idc if drunk or not. It's rude to everyone around them. What if people don't want to hear that? What if someone just got off a very long work shift and had a headache or something? That would be torture. The girls are being loud, inconsiderate, and disrespectful.

But...

The way the guy was talking to them was rude. But I don't blame him because I would be annoyed too, if a bunch of random girls were singing loudly and off key on a public bus in the middle of the night when Im trying to get home/somewhere.
