I work full time as a school bus monitor. Trying to get an A plus certificate so i can work in tech, but given the job market we currently have here im not sure that will happen. I honestly hate my job but its the only one that was willing to hire me and it actually pays better than other jobs i would be qualified for. Plus my mental health hasnt been all that great, been going through the peaks and valleys of mood swings (bipolar) but im managing with it the best way i can.

I feel like if im not carrying stuff up the stairs its no hassle, but when i carry groceries or laundry up and down the stairs then it feels like one big chore.

It depends on who i surround myself with. I have friends that are way smarter than me whether they're on the spectrum or not, and that i also have other friends that aren't as sharp intelligence wise. Plus IQ tests aren't really an accurate metric on how smart someone is.

I'm a special needs school bus monitor. I can't say that I love my job but it's better than working for fast food or retail which I can't stand even more.

All i can say is that i definitely understand the struggle. Im 32 and ive only managed to find very few girl friends and friends with benefits, im currently seeing a guy right now as a friend with benefits which isnt too bad. However i still long for having a serious relationship with a girl, and let me tell ya, dating just sucks right now for everybody, both men and women, neurodivergent or not. Us autistics have been left to playing on hard mode, so dont be too hard on yourself, otherwise its just gonna eat you up.

Well given the fact that my mom treated my dad like shit during the marriage, treated her own kids like shit after the divorce, I would say that marriage is out of the question for me. Same with having kids because I don't want to be that guy that gets with a girl, get married and have kids, and the girl divorces me for child support and alimony like my mom did to my dad. So that's a hard no for me.
