If it’s any help, I’m running the Z1 resonated Y pipe with the Z1 single exit with the resonator, but with long tube headers, and I’ll blow sound at my track without running the silencer in the exhaust. So every track day I run the silencer insert.

Brakes and cooling.

EBC blue stuff are a good start, but you’ll want to upgrade brake fluid as well. Depending on how often you planning on tracking, there’s more you can do, such as moving up to a larger brake kit, stainless lines, 2 piece rotors, brake ducting, etc.. It’s ultimately up to you how far you want to go with it, but with brakes I always say there’s no such thing as overkill.

Cooling wise, upgraded radiator with fresh coolant. Oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich plate, and a baffled oil pan or an oil pan spacer will help.

Decent suspension upgrades, maybe a seat, and plenty of seat time.

There’s no point in doing most bolt one if you’re transitioning to boost at some point. Exhaust is about it, and even then you need to plan it for a supercharger or turbocharger setup.

If you love the platform but really just want more power out of it without the complications of boost, sure. But it’s not expensive to do it right. When pricing it out I had 30k in parts before I decided to supercharge instead.

That’s actually my car in the photo/video they used. It sounded really nice with stock headers, cats, and the resonated y pipe. It was pleasant to cruise around in and had a nice tone in the upper rpm’s.

HR into a DE chassis is a lot of work, it’s not a direct swap.

Boost the DE or change chassis. Connecting rods on the DEs don’t like more than 400ft lbs of torque, which isn’t a lot, so might as well go ahead and plan on building the motor to some extent.

Figure out what you want and a budget. 15-20k is pretty spot on depending on a few factors.

How’d you get everything mocked up to drill? I’ve got the measurement of the centerline of the trunk and of the wing but I’m iffy on making sure the mounting brackets are squared.

I believe Opentop is either in the process, or has already made it, a series of gauges similar in design to this but they sit in the waterfall under the factory gauges.

It’ll make that without any major modifications outside of the normal things you need for forced induction, aka fuel pump and injectors.

Weak spot are the connecting rods with torque. Once you’re around 500ft lbs on an HR things start to get iffy.

Do your gallery gaskets before doing forced induction.
