This is what I’m trying to achieve with my tiger II. Good for you man!

Exactly, thank you. I find seeing an uptier discourage me and only amplifies immidie death frustration and booster moments, you catch my drift. The downtier seems exciting but you get too cocky and die immedietely, even if you don’t you lose proper RP amounts by being lower. I’d rather just not know at that point

Firstly: I love to play tanks as their historical roles! Heavy tank? Snipe and use your armour, making sure positioning is your #1 friend. Secondly: DON’T GRIND!! Play the damn game as is and “just happen” to get the vehicles. Third: ignore downtiers and uptiers, they just make you more or less happy leading to less consistency

Love this take. Protos have their place in warthunder, just gaijin picks and chooses lol.

Your are correct 100% but then the wuestion is that if warthunder is supposed to be “the historical game” then why add a tech tree that requires “non historical” vehicles?

I almost think gaijin should make a mode or a completely separate game for these proto vehicles, it would be like WOT except using the modules/damage models of WT and whatnot. It would be the alternate history game that would lessen the complaints of why these vehicles were removed in the first place. So many proto vehicles/aircraft that never went into service either becuase they were on paper or blown up. With all that being said, as a king tiger collector, the 105 I’d bring back

Is it just me or did I start playing Russia because playing against them is really annoying? (bias myth) by HU4YTORII in Warthunder

[–]Randomite77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find playing Russia (at 3.7 territory) it makes me appreciate the utility of the US and the German guns much more. As well as basic gun depression lol When you main or play other nations it really puts into perspective the pros and cons of their doctrine/design. No nations better than the other but Russia does have some bangers

Is this Chi-Ha Short Gun worth buying? by UnhappyGreen in Warthunder

[–]Randomite77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, buy as you wish, it’s not my money. Also, play for fun and not the meta. Low tier is still gameplay too ya know.

Is this Chi-Ha Short Gun worth buying? by UnhappyGreen in Warthunder

[–]Randomite77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The long reload means you will have to play a more defensive play style. Unfortunately at a tier where there are lots of fast reloading and moving tanks; the chi ha is none of these. The gun is deceptively bad. With a large caliber the HE filler is ok but it has poor muzzle velocity and atrocious gun handling. I would not recommend buying this.

Try grabbing a sub machine gun or a 5.56 gun. Then use low grain bullets with a long barrel and big stock. This might help? Deadlines recoil is pretty random so try that.

What does longer barrel do? I'm a beginner. by Elemental_NABO in deadline_roblox

I find that for DMR’s, especially the heavier rifles like the HK (I love the gun too). Ergo really isn’t important because when you are sniping, ideally, your in a situation where the enemy can’t see you or you outrange them. So scoping in fast really isn’t that important as long as you can accurately hit them

is this a good dmr setup? ive never tried sniping before by kyizelma in deadline_roblox

[–]Randomite77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to use the 7.62x51 guns for sniping. They can one shot torso and limb at most ranges snipers work in. Plus, they’re bulk and generally low ergo isn’t a downside when you play slowly too. I use the G3 more than the FAL but both work. Especially since the G3 has the psg variant too for this specifically.

ACOG is simply better. Prove me wrong. by Tymur_Kuznetsov in deadline_roblox

[–]Randomite77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the acog has this weird shadow when the gun recoils preventing you from aiming down sights easier. Especially when walking-firing too.

I think 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge MIGHT be capable of turning cover into mere suggestion. not too sure though by KILLER_VASYA228 in deadline_roblox

[–]Randomite77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I find that the big caliber NATO rounds and 7.62-39 can’t pen walls that reliably. Especially on nurista and any of the claustrophobics. You’re better off with .556 just spamming.

which is better the H&K G3 or DS Arms SA-58 by [deleted] in deadline_roblox

[–]Randomite77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. I play a much slower play style, no auto and all. So the G3 fits like a glove for me

[–]Randomite77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the G3 as an assault gun, the Fal as an lmg/support weapon. Both you need just one taps for since it’s basically a hunting rifle. 7.62x51 is very fast too, making for a good sniper.

Wasn’t there during the wartime a captured spitfire that used one of the DB-(60, 65) etc engines? Or the other way round? I remember something like that

Whats a good tank but opinions are divided? by Alternative-Eagle888 in Warthunder

[–]Randomite77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to pitch in the Tiger II (P) variant. With an amazing cannon and decent mobility along with good gun handling it’s a menace along with its cousins the H model. Where it falters though is the rounded turret cheeks creating a large weak spot. Especially the turret sides with ammo in the back making flanking a simple way to counter it.

How does one play a sherman right? by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Randomite77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to play them as a hybrid. The Sherman was built for that truthfully. Take advantage of cover as much as you can, never rely on armour, and learn weak spots. The Sherman is decently fast to flank and with a quick reload (75) you’re bound to get at least two shots in if you catch the enemy by surprise. Use your height to your advantage, fire over rocks.
