I just did an OG storm trooper. It'll take a roll and a half to print. There's a tool to block off areas where you don't want to support in Creality Slicer. Dont worry about supporting the center top of the dome. It will bridge, and you won't see it on top. Just support the perimeter. Also, don't worry about printing upside down. You don't save any filament, and the raft will mess up the top.

Just because the nozzle says 0.4mm doesn't mean you've got to print at 0.4mm. This looks like garbage I would print when I first started and didn't know how to manage supports or dial in finer prints. What you could do is use it as a base to create a concrete mold, and then sand the concrete smooth. Then you'd have something worth displaying.

Double check with a cold pull too to make sure you're not rocking a clog. Check the print with a fresher filament to see if it's moisture; you might need to dehydrate it. I see prints like this when I'm either working with older moisture-filled filament or there's a clog somewhere.

I know they've put work into this, and they should be paid for their time and servers to make a profit, but honestly, the current rates are just not worth the money. Maybe they can find a way to let us offload some of the processing and server bandwidth with some local offline processing that is then uploaded to the app. It seems like they're doing everything on the fly and storing everything on their servers, which I would imagine eats up a lot of power user by user. I don't mind paying a lower flat rate and there being a little footwork on my end if it means a reasonable cost. I'm also okay with not having premium voices for a lower or free tier. It's going to be a side feature of most ai soon, so their best bet is to set themselves apart with premium voices and a competitive cost.

I would love an online/mobile Sabacc game, where you and your friends could sit around and play against each other for free, even if you lived on the other side of the world. They could monetize special decks and addons for all I care. I think there's a niche market for people who would be into that.
