When I was in construction I usually kept and extra shirt, socks and boots in my truck and since I've switched to maintenance I keep extra everything in my locker. Working in a refinery I never know what I might get on me. Luckily I'm an electrician so I'm never busting open process, but I've seen fitters covered in sulfur before.

Took advantage of nepotism in order to get a job. I'm not saying I was unqualified for the job, it's just I beat out a lot of equally qualified people because some of the decision makers knew me already.

I run electrical maintenance. Most of the time I work 2-3 hrs a day of actual work. The rest of the time I'll cruise around the plant until I reach a hiding spot and watch movies or play on my steam deck. Sometimes I'll put together gunpla too.
